What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.8 was shown on the meter screen today. No immediate danger but long term would be damaging enough IMHO. Current wisdom is to blame The Russians or Barnier here or Deep State elsewhere then carry on regardless. Can't help thinking that won't deal with my problem but it apparently leads to fantasy results.
@rhubarb73 great BMI progress which is often a lead marker for lots of other biomarkers.

5.7 today. Not sure what it all means being just under 6 rather than recent trending just over. All I do know is I am eating less and thats not great because I dont want to lose any more weight but for me its the perrenisl problem of BG numbers v weight loss.
Got to seed unsightly large grass patches today and make a stonking curry for the weekend so no time to mope, as ever
Have a good day everyone.

We are out of stonkings round here - whereabouts in UK are you? Also, seeding unsightly grass patches is so last year - Brazill... is the way to go:angelic::angelic:

Stonking great curries are all the rage here anytime! This is the first year ever after prolonged dry weather we have been left with the “Brazil” look. The only regrowth is mainly weeds so action needs to be taken now before the ground cools down too much.
You do make me laugh!

Good morning all. 5.3 today. Sunny here,so long walk in the countryside.
Well done @rhubarb73 on the weight loss. The one thing I noticed from month to month, was how much lighter I was on my feet. Walking became a simple pleasure. Great results on all fronts. The cumulative effect of lots of small gains will pay dividends.
Hope everyone is well. Have a great day.

Morning all 5.1 today
Rushing around as out to early diabetic retinopathy screening appt - which means of course that the sun is coming out! Yesterday would have been a much better day for it.
Have a good day today everyone
@shelley262 Don't forget the sunglasses and hope all goes well as it should with your hard work. @Canvaspic as you said to @rhubarb73 small differences - the whole Dr Bernstein Law of small numbers thesis in dealing with diabetes. Al Pacino inch by inch speech in Any Given Sunday may appeal to you two. (Think Potch needs this on speed dial for our lot)

Morning...after an impromptu dinner last night with good friends I woke to a 6.3...I had a fabulous evening...good food...good conversation...good liquor & lots & lots of laughing...went to bed with a smile on my face...woke up today smiling...slightly above my average waking number but worth every extra mmol...sometimes you just have to do it;)

Morning all.... watched the new spike lee movie last night , highly recommended ....then a late meal out with wine....... woke up to my lowest ever morning sugars of 5.1. ....PLUS..... its sunny albeit a bit nippy....Have a great day. ....
