What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Oh I’m so cross I’ve missed a whole evening of jumper chat! Like @Goonergal I have a bit of a jumper addiction so thoroughly enjoyed reading through all the posts. What an odd thread this turns out to be sometimes.
Nighty night all.

Morning...finished work in London around 5:30pm yesterday...met my niece & some friends for dinner before heading home...since my HbA1c test was last Tuesday had a cheeky fish & chips with some mushy peas...it was first class...home around 9pm exhausted but relieved to be here...woke to a forgiving 6.1

Struggled to open eyes this morning had a wonderful glorious catch up sleep in my own bed! My body clearly thought it should keep me asleep for as long as possible as woke up to alarm - usually naturally wake up before - and got woken up to a fbg of 4.0
Happy Valentine’s Day all OH and I have some planning to do so we’ve decided - given forecast of sun later - to go on valentines hike later it’s a wonderful way to talk and think things through on a long hike together. Coffee and cream in a flask will be packed.
@DJC3 pleased your readings dropped a bit despite code free being higher.

Nothing beats one’s own bed does it? Can’t belive your fbg especially considering your recent stresses. Your day sounds like a perfect Valentine’s day for you both.

good morning all :)

4.3 today

still nice and mild :) off out to volunteer this morning and we'll probably have a nice LCHF meal on our way home.

'Tis St. Valentine's day - shame we can't give two ratings at once, hearts all round I say! ;)

Hope your day treats you well :)

@ianpspurs indeed Susie is the dog, now sporting her new spring trim and shiny claws, mum will be getting her trim today ;)
