Woke early ( painful cramps in foot , had to get up and walk it off )

Once sorted, onto First cuppa of day. Swiftly followed by the 2nd. :D

Fbg bang on rainbow 6.

Made chilli last night, done stir fry with it, and added a little grated cheddar.

very nice, but portion control went out the window sadly...so i stuffed after.

Going to have rein in my appetite this week
Off to India next week, so I'm sure to be more relaxed about how much I eat while away,

So it's a little work now to balance the difference I know is coming
so its a worthy cause :)
Nice, where in India are you going? Will you be having local guides? So many questions.

Good morning folks another straight 6 at 0550 in the game of “Take Your Pick”. I passed the “Yes, No interlude” but picked the wrong key - Should have got up an hour earlier and picked key number 5.
Bin Day today but from the sound of the wind this morning, a search party may be needed first before they smartly line up ready for action. Always the blooming same when it’s the recycling bin’s turn.
Lot’s of dog walkers on the field yesterday afternoon throwing balls and sticks and the wind returning them, dogs very confused. I sometimes think that dogs only bring sticks back because they think that their owners just like throwning sticks.
Have a great day if you can, have a go with a kite if you can’t to amuse your neighbours.

Good morning all. Had to get up early, so didn't get enough sleep today. Blood sugars were 5.2 today.

@PenguinMum -- Happy that your son is home with you now and that it doesn't seem to be the heart. Do you have any idea what might be causing the panic attacks?
@jjraak -- Wow, India -- this sounds exciting. Whereto in India? Is it your first time there?
@Freema -- Great to see fbgs in the 5s -- well done.

Have a great Wednesday, everyone.

Morning all, a truly, truly spectacular.......14.1 someone's cannula sealed off last night, so a day of catch up today and a full set change to boot, oh the joys of diabetes eh. Thank you @Bubbsie and @SaskiaKC they may look angelic but Trixie "Princess Pocket Rocket" and Sid "The Handsome" are nuts!! Chewing everything in sight and being pains for their mum at the minute! God help us in the summer!

Take care everyone.

good morning all :)

4.6 today

it's really blowing and chucking it down out there this morning ;) Hope it's 'bated' a bit by the time we go over to mum's because the 'log' delivery is coming today. More 'bricks' than 'logs' really and well wrapped on a pallet so hopefully the delivery will go ok.

Tried making some chia seed pudding last night so I'm off to taste it now :)

Hope your day treats you well :)

A truly surprising 5.1 greeted me this morning, I know what I ate last night, at least the remaining neighbours barking cat will not be climbing my fence anymore to chase the postman. Don't you just love a good curry?

I shall almost be serious for a sentence or three. I have the hospital diabetic clinic this morning and I wondering about the merits of changing my Metformin to the slow release type. At the moment I take 2 x 500mg twice a day, we shall see what the experts have to say. Yes for the last few months I have had slight bowel problems. I shall report back possibly in tomorrow's post. Note I am on a large amount of medications so the normal reactions don't apply. Usually.
Have a good day folks.
Whoops that was more than three sentences, hehehehe.

People. Noise. Swearing. Many foods.
5.7 this morning, although it's still dark and I don't know why I am awake. Coffee might help ;)
I have been up since 4.00am..

And I know why I was awake..

Cat using me as a trampoline and digging her claws in with such gusto I didn’t need to prick my finger because she had already drawn enough blood for several strips!

I am on the slow release.

I found less bowel issues, far less wind and I generally found I settled on those much quicker. I found the original to be too harsh on my system and they really made me uncomfortable.

Morning All. A dastardly 7.3 this morning because I had one slice of cake last night. Was at a friends for supper and she had made this fab citrus sponge cake and insisted I had a small slice so I gave in. Later she told us the secret ingredient was 250g mashed potato to go with the 250g flour.! It was so nice but so not worth that!
@johnpol Trixie and Sid look like butter wouldnt melt....
@jjraak ah you’re ok, lol, sounds like a really great adventure, enjoy every minute.
@Saskia I appreciate you sharing your story, wow. If you dont encounter this you have no idea how serious it can be. Best wishes.
@alf_Josiah good luck at the D clinic you and yer mates will have them in stitches!
@karen8967 have you started your new job yet or having a lull between jobs?
Have a good Wednesday everyone. Stay well, stay safe.
