What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.2 oh well, that’ll be the late night Brazil nuts.
@ziggy_w hi from me too. It’s always good to see you.
@hankjam what sugar/sweetener did you use? Have you tried Lakanto Monkfruit sweetener? It’s about the only one I can tolerate the taste of. Quite expensive though
@Debandez what a glorious sunset - you’re right I wouldn’t have guessed it was Blackpool if I hadn’t known. I think 3 glasses is quite restrained under the circumstances

Awoke at about 4 AM feeling crapulous bs in the 2's had something sugary now at 4,2 feeling better having my usual double shot espresso black unsweetened.

Good morning everyone. @JohnEGreen I hope your day picks up from that crapulous start. @PenguinMum wonderful start for you. @DJC3 fbg is fine but Brazil nuts? - have a word with yourself girl Libre reader reckons I was 4.7 to start the day. I can no longer take these readings seriously.

Hi @DJC3 I've not found a sweetener I like so still stick with sugar. It had 500g cream cheese, 250g double cream, 3 eggs and 75g of sugar. Recommended amount of sugar from the recipe was 250g.
Next time I will reduce the sugar more, it was still pretty sweet.

Drat, 8.5 and aches everywhere.
No explanation.

Thanks for your concern, folks.
Bg fine by lunchtime. I am inclined to have achy bones.
No need for doctors. I tend to do better on my own.

Good to hear about your lunchtime BG. Do you have a thermometer? Can you taste stuff and smell stuff?
I sympathize about the aching.
Gentle hug.
