What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

4.8 this morning. My numbers seem to have dropped by about a point on average quite suddenly so I'm in 4s and 5s now rather than 5s and 6s.

The red wine last night probably helped, but the peanuts probably balanced it out.

Snap @PenguinMum - 6.8 this morning.Been away for a few days with no control over food I was given, avoided obvious carbs but still couldn’t stop the gradual rise. More importantly perhaps - no exercise. I’ve been doing quite a lot recently which has really helped so the complete lack of it is making a difference.
@Ryhia do you have an air fryer? Pork chops done in one were a revelation to me. Ive also been trying ( and failing mostly) to clear space in my freezer but a bargain is a bargain!

Thats not a number I recognise for you but now you are back in control of your meals and exercise I am sure you will see a big improvement.

Elbow bump style hugs for @DJC3 and @PenguinMum. Thanks to @JanetMcDowell for the like. I'll resume wearing Swipey before heading to Paphos on Saturday. @DJC3 I will once again email my requirements and hope COVID means I can still have them met - exceeded- by Andreas and his staff. I sympathise with you. Take care.

Son passed on his old one to me so yes I have an airfryer I've only used it once for chips for OH - hope I remember I have it when I get around to frying some chops.

4.8 this morning. Why I haven't a clue but I am not double checking. ;)

Morning All. 6.8 despite eating supper an hour earlier than usual. Sometimes you just can’t win. Will try a stint at picking up leaves today in the vain hope…
Happy Sunday everyone
Very true sometimes the harder you try the results just don't match the effort .

7.7 - Went to bed on a 8.2, so, something pulled down the numbers overnight. Mid afternoon I had a 5.5, yay, the Endo-sys appears to be working, at least.

Have a great week everybody, and, for those painfully “struggling” to control this condition, keep coming back here, you’re all welcome.

4.9 this morning - did a 24 hour fast over the weekend broken with cheese omelette last night. I'd been letting my food choices slip a little for a few days, I needed a re-set.
