What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

o_O
Thanks and attagirl for the gomad - but hubby??:arghh::arghh: that word crosses the thickest of my red lines. Even worse than yum/yummy or staycation. Sheesh.
How do you bear to use “Sheesh”, then. Cringe!

7.3 - Really?!? Totally amazed at reading, considering just what I ate yesterday! We had, all prepared by MrsE, salmon Pate WITH sour dough toast; roast chicken and Roasties, pots, parsnips and sweet pot; stewed pear; lemon drizzle cake AND Ice cream. OMG! Only 7.3, went to bed on a 9.3….. Let's see what Tuesday brings ;).

Oh yeah, anybody see the F1 Race yesterday? Edge of the seat stuff. Been like this ALL season.

Either 4.6 or 5.4 this morning depending which hand I'm taking the measurement from.

I'll go with 5.0 and have done with it ... I'm right handed so maybe that hand needs more glucose, or something equally unscientific :-)

Annoying 6.1 today.
Glad you are ready to party again @Pipp
Great result @Estragon what a lovely sounding meal - I miss sourdough toast.
Hope all went well yesterday @ianpspurs , how long before you get your results? I enjoyed your u non-u article. Surprisingly I tick 11 u boxes and 3 non-u but of course counting them is decidedly non-u.

@DEBBIESCOTT the MRI worked a charm, some "banging chunes" and little angels. Your fbg is "mad" for an amazingly healthy lifestyle - kills any idea your D has anything to do with lifestyle. I pray "they" diagnose and help you manage "it" sooner rather than later. @Estragon interesting outcome from that meal. The meal sounds delightful and Mrs E is obviously a keeper. I await 2 Swipeys but "the project" is unchanged. Find a woe that is nutritious, family friendly, tastes half way decent and still keeps me non D. Bono and the lads have a song about that.

Morning All. 6.3 today have had worse and still nursing heavy cold. Awaiting PCR test results. Have the best Monday you can.

Pleased yesterday went well for you, if you find the elusive woe please share

Yeah. 6.5 years in I have manged the non D, eat lots of salad and supplements. Elsie's "swaps" - celagne aside- have never worked for me - the infamous DD cabbage casserole is a recurrent nightmare if I'm ever tempted.

5.7 this morning. Having been away I am now lagging behind with the Christmas preparations. Son and family (2 adults 2 children) coming up from Wiltshire on the 20th, so I have got to get the Christmas decorations up by then and sort the sleeping arrangements. I optimistically hope that we do not go into lockdown before they come as our grandchildren, both local and distant are so excited to be meeting up again. Have a good day folks.
