What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Finetest lite 5
5.4 average over the last 24 hours, libres happy I’m just exhausted
Rest day from exercise (apart from 100 squats) & another long day at work

4.4 today might be because I had very little to eat yesterday plus I had a certain beverage before bed just to cheer me up. I have my cholesterol test in 4 days and having checked with my own cholesterol tester, I know my LDL is going to be really high. Now the question is do I hack my cholesterol (eat lots of calories for 3 days) to bring it down a little or do I say enough's enough! I have now had two years of angst about something which is really quite trivial in the grand scheme of things, heartily sick of it. Have a good day folks I plan to...
 
Still stuck in the 9's with a 9.2 ( I remember when I hated being in the 7's now I would be happy ( ish ) to be there ) .
 
I scored 5.6 this morning at 6am.
This is my first FBG under 7.4.
Last night I had more carb than usual and no alcohol.

I’m surprised at this result and still struggling to understand what I perceive as poor behaviour gives me a good FBG.

Hugs for @mojo37 @PenguinMum and presumably @Pipp. Obviously others need hugs but are powering on through in silence - tip for ya: it is ok not to be ok - shout, shout let it all out. No Swipey here as investigations into other issues not compatible. Stabbo is a barbaric practice and so last year. Elsie and me can't be reconciled but stay together for the sake of the limbs, eyes, kidneys etc. Go Team D. Who doesn't lurve SSSF?

I'm 22 days off the metformin, and after a run of 5s had 3 days of 6s and today back on 5.6. I'm taking a low steroid dose post-surgery and so quite okay with those results.
