Great fbg and consistent across both modes of checking. Awesome exercise ethic, have a great day. I'm surrounded by US service families who BBQ breakfast. Is it a "thing" in Lincolnshire as well? Go Team D.

Got to make the most of this weather, if it’s cooked inside my daughter & I do it, if it’s cooked on the barbecue the boys do it, it’ll still be a full english

5.7 on first testing, tested again once I had put the kettle on - 5.1.:)

10.8 this morning

was 15.6 around 28 May when I started my Low Carb Low Cal diet after an Hba1c of 112 (next Hba1c 30th August). Gradually been coming down and got it into single figures Friday 9.9 but it's crept back up again. Not sure why I'm getting this liver shunt in the mornings. I don't have snacks in the evening. Maybe it's something to do with my fatty liver recovering/recovered? My pre lunch and pre dinner numbers are around 7.5 at the moment.

I had lost a stone in weight since commencing the low carb diet but then plateaued so changed tack to a liquid shake for b/fast and lunch and a low calorie no carb meal for dinner which seems to have booted me back into weight loss again. I've lost 3lb this week. I'm trying to do this without meds much to the disapproval of my GP and DN who think low calorie and meds is the way to go, pffft.....

Welcome @Cobwebs. Hope it continues to go well.

FBG 5.4 this morning but I'll take that as it could have been a lot worse. Ate very late yesterday evening and when I tested just before bed bloods were 7.6! It gave me a shock as I very rarely see anything above 7! Food I ate was a slice of whole meal bread (just a try out which doesn't seem to have worked) some cheese, followed by sugar free jelly and a glass of low cal tonic water was still hungry so had a couple of other nibbly bits -some Montezuma choc buttons and a couple/three hazelnuts. Looking at the bread and/or the tonic water as the culprits. Not planning on repeating the experiment so will never know. Anyway today is another day and hoping its going to be a good un':) Now back to the low cal.....

Morning All. A disappointing 7.6 after late lunch out of slow roasted lamb and only green veg and a lot of rose to drink. @BrianDoc so sorry about your Dad’s care and hope he will come through ok. @Cobwebs off to a great start and best wishes to you.
Stay hydrated everyone. Happy Monday.
