I had a infected blister on my right heel that has been causing me problems. Later yesterday, I went to my doctors had some blood tests done, then at 11:15pm got woken up by my parents saying that the doctors are on the phone, saying that I need to go to the hospital now as my blood tests came back as having a reading of 36.8. So I went the hospital and got my ketone checked, which was normal. Then got sent back home with my blood sugar still at 28.2. I'm feeling okay in myself, no drowsiness, thirst or confusion. How did you take/get th 28.2 reading and did you double check it? Are you feeling ok apart from the hunger?
Hope you’re feeling better soon. I have a ‘sick day flowchart’ that me and my DE made together. Although you’re maybe not feeling sick if it was me I’d me following my sick day rules anyway if only to get that BSL downI had a infected blister on my right heel that has been causing me problems. Bed was 5.9 . @plantae dp is dawn phenomenon. From what I've read here from other posts its our liver dumping stored glucose to prep us for our morning rise from bed some of the other members on here who are far more knowledgeable may be able to explain it better than me .
Enjoy your day folks
Hang on in there, you need the patience of a saint in hospital. I am glad you are staying calm and good luck and sending oodles of virtual hugs.7.6 - Still waiting for CABG slot and now I’ve got a heavy duty nasal, dry throat, sneezing and temperature. Bloods gone for matching to intravenous antibiotic. If yah don’t wanna get ill, don’t go to hospital. Funny, I’m not depressed.
DP.Not sure why just have to go withthe flow.
