What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.3 this morning

Last night I was convinced my CGM was giving false readings (high 8s low 9s 5 hours after a low carb dinner). Finger prick agreed (0.1 mmol/L diff) so went to bed with 8.1 skipping the protein shake I normally have to get above 7

Hope you’re feeling better soon. I have a ‘sick day flowchart’ that me and my DE made together. Although you’re maybe not feeling sick if it was me I’d me following my sick day rules anyway if only to get that BSL down :) I see you’re on insulin, do you have a sick day plan? Unfortunately I don’t think I’m allowed to share mine here and it’s indivualised to me anyhow. Maybe search the forums, stay hydrated. Good new re the ketones anyhow and I hope the blister mends soon

This is thing I feel fine and no I don't have a sick day plan. I didn't even know that there is one I could have done by my diabetes nurse, as I've not seen mine since before Coronavirus hit.

Morning All. 6.7 this morning so thats better, just. Bit of a Coronation party going on today with our clan so we’ll see what tomorrow looks like. Have a good Sunday all
Enjoy the party. Parties are like carbs for me, keep them as close to 0 as possible. Set piece family lunch - here, my food and wine choices - which include my youngest grandson (not yet 2) are about the only social gathering where I feel comfortable.1 son in Turkey/flying back, 1 in Winchester, nurse wife at work, and 1 + 2 children may drop in later or tomorrow - about right for me. 4.9 here. O.K. if you like that kind of thing. @Estragon thoughts and prayers for you. Make your own kind of music everyone
