7.3 this morning. Not sure what happened, looking at my graph BSL rose between dinner and midnight peaking at 8.1 and then a very long slope back down to 7.3. Maybe forgot my insulin but I have it logged and I think (99% sure) that I would have peaked way higher than 8.1 and much sooner if that was the case. Mystery

Morning All. 6.9. Not seeing my little bro this Christmas but seeing him late July. Its been a tradition since we lost our mum. Lots of brandy just hope I get it through Security lol. Will it survive till Yuletide? @Estragon glad you got a fixed date and we will be all cheering you and the surgeon On. @RosemaryJackson fingers crossed for a good A1c, suspect it will be great. Take care @plantae. Enjoy Friday All.

I'm celebrating my birthday with a 4.8

Tomorrow, it will be 4 weeks since the health check that brought the word diabetes crashing into my world. In those 4 weeks, I haven't eaten a single potato or packet of crisps or slice of pizza. No plate of chips, no pastry of any kind and no pasta. Also, I've had no soda, cordial, alcohol or ice cream/candy. I've never smoked, so it would be cheating to include no smoking in this list

I have also walked 4 or 5 miles per day every day without fail.

So, what to allow myself as a birthday treat I've already said no surprise birthday cake, but I will be eating lunch outside of the house for the first time, so I wonder how I'll treat myself. I'll report back tomorrow on what I did
You are doing so well :)

You are doing so well :)
Thank you

My birthday treat ended up being a 'Birthday Cake Square', which was some kind of low cal bar with 12g carbs and 6.3g sugar. Not my most extravagant birthday celebration ever, but one that should go to help me have many, many more to enjoy

This morning, we start with a reading of 4.4

Morning all. 5.3 first swipe here. Disappointing but nearly 1.5 hrs later than recent trend time for waking so excellent sleep score probably offset that. Currently rediscovering lemon tea (real not powdered). This week I have discovered and my Food Fairy has made suitable Gaucamole, L/C sweet and sour sauce (7/8 year quest) and keto Moussaka. :woot: Have a great day, make your own discoveries
