What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

7.2 this morning no idea why, kept off the nuts yesterday. Have a headache and had cream yesterday, been off cream all week wondering if dairy is affecting my sinuses and giving me headaches.

6.7 this morning. I'm still not over my cold, and I haven't kept track every morning, as I had to stay home from work a couple of days with a fever. I'm chalking my higher readings up to that, but it does make me nervous about my HbA1c test at the end of the month. I had hoped to show my GP that I can control my T2 with diet only, after such a horrendous reading last year made him very sceptical to my plans.
Stick with it ...when you aren't well it raises BG numbers ...hope you show him that diet can lower your numbers .

H Sarah you are welcome in this friendly little corner where we all support each other’s personal goals. I think you should post in the general forum giving more info about your type of D, what your HbA1c was on diagnosis, whether medicated, etc so a bit more context for the forum members to support you. Fasting BG is notoriously higher due to Dawn Phenominum but agree 18 is very high.

Thank you for your your advice, I will do that x

Morning all. 5.1 here which is adequate but top end of what I like. Libre acting as a CGM shows up DP/FOF (foot on floor) 5.6 by the time I'd dressed, gone down, emptied dishwasher, made tea and sorted the dogs. Thoughts and prayers with you all especially @Mini Dachs Mum today.
Edit: 5.4 by 8.30 - DP/FOF may not always be "a thing"
