What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning All 7.8 but yesterday was a carby day so I need to pull up my resolve. @JoKalsbeek I too love cats and spend many a wintry afternoon curled up on the sofa with two purring machines. That kitten is gorgeous. My two are now 12 and will be the last because my OH has become allergic.
Happy Tuesday everyone.

6.0 this morning. @mojo37 thanks for the tip, once I get into retirement with the option of long morning walks I will give it a try, Sadly both the current weather and my OH have their own ideas designed to keep me indoors and busy but time will tell.
I've retired and gone back part time ...walking works for me ( when I make the effort ) I find that 20 mins can make a difference .

Woke bathing in sweat from a nightmare/hot flush combo, and an unsurprising 7,9 on the Libre at 6 a.m.! Sheesh. Awake now for a few hours, with a hairdresser's appointment in the morning, and a much dreaded appointment at the hospital this afternoon... So stress, bad night and breakfast, I'm hitting a 9,9 and rising now. Hopefully it'll all be over soon though. Think aside from a few blood draws and maybe an eye exam, I should be back to a quiet, hidden life again soon. Kind of regret getting the ball rolling on some points, but in others, well.. The less you want to know, the more you should, so it's okay. It got me to stick a Libre on anyway, and tackle my liver.

Libre's ending on friday, if it makes it all the way to the end. It's still sore and a little swollen, but I'm going to miss that little thing. Might repeat it once or twice a year though. It's estimating my HbA1c as being non-diabetic again, that's nice. Always encouraging to see something's working. :)

Anyway, have a good day, all!

I'm thinking of going back to work (when my hubby retires!):rolleyes:For my own sanity!!
I sometimes wished my wife had the same thoughts. The long list of things I will be expected to do when I retire is almost painful and walking or leisure time of any sort doesn't appear anywhere.

Up to 7.1 this morning, probably due to lying awake planning my escape.
