What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Five point six on libre

- last evening for the first time in a couple of years I ate a blueberry pancake. I was making them for the kids. - a mix of almond and self raising flour , eggs and lots of blueberries. Of course it raised my blood glucose but also made me hugely hungry shortly after eating . I hadn’t done much shopping so ended up munching a tin of span with a few slices of gerkins. I’ll hit the shops after the school run today !

Have a good day all , if you possibly can

6.1 this morning. My new garden container just arrived, will be so nice to get that into place so we can tidy the yard!
Asked Doc to prescribe Creon as I’m having g good results with over the counter enzymes….may as well have the insurance company pay for them. Doctor is actually not really mt doctor any more but still watches out for me. She just texted a congratulations on my last A1C So I figured I’d ask about the Creon….prescription has been sent to Costco.

Morning All 8.2 on meter and 7.5 on Libre. Not as good as yesterday but still hoping. @grantg glad the injection went well. My SIL has a “golden” injection in her spine meant to last up to 5 years but never does. Yours is obs a different situation but wishing you the best. @RosemaryJackson thats great progress do you think the Metformin SR is the cause. @mojo37 I can empathise with those numbers all too well. Belated happy birthday @Bcgirl.
Enjoy the day everyone.

upto 5 years sounds awesome even if doesnt last the full period, next time at pain management clinic i'm going to ask if its possible for a longer term injection It maybe as on waiting list for double lumber fusion (been on list for years) that maybe not option really don't know.

thanks :)

6.4 this morning. Didnt post yesterday as up early and away to the dentist first thing but surprised as had an unexpected 8.1 after fasting for 24 hrs and numbers just increased all day to 12.6. Makes no sense but can only put it down to a bit of psychological stress as dentists and root canals are not on my favourite list. I try not to let it bother me but I suppose the fear is always there in the background.

That would be enough to send my readings through the roof! I think my dentist is on the verge of strapping me to the chair lol!

frequently the numbing injections have adreneline. that will raise blood sugars, do they know your diabetic if so they can use injections without it. The downside of not using them is that the injections won't last nearly as long :( next appt for dentist for me 14th I'm asking him to use normal numbing injection, so can get the whole lot done deal with the highs when they come. Stress factor for some odd reason can have effects of both lows and highs here, medEvil torturists ... urgh (spelling error on purpose) hopefully after ur root canal u wont need any further treatment for sometime :)

Morning all. 5.7 at 4.00am.......6.1 at 7.35am. @PenguinMum, I only took one!! I was making sure I took my anti-biotics and decided to wait till after them to start with the MSR. I have been following the Carnivore diet and I am losing weight too. So I'm a happy bunny this morning. That's the first time I have ever been at 5.7 since being diagnosed.
I would like to give you 2 winner emoji :singing:
