Do you really want an answer to that mr dગુડ સવારે તમે મારા બધા દંડ ડાયાબિટીક ખૂબ ઓછી મોર અને મગફળી. This morning I spun the great diabetic tombola when I stuck my hand in one got a marble, a 7 year old Malteser ( quite gross, I know but I just had to eat it) abd a bonus ball with 3.2 on it. My blood sugars are 3.2mmols. My new bed arrives today and I am currently sat behind the front door in my new pyjamas and a smoking jacket waiting to go, go go. My dog thinks I have lost the plot. I haven't lost the plot have I?
Morning...after five attempts at resetting my password I've finally managed to log in...if I hear the phrase 'your password is incorrect' one more time'...perhaps I should change my password to incorrect...one way to remember it...woke to a 5.5.
Just back from my morning walk, 6 km today in 58 minutes, bringing my total distance for the month to 191 km; that 200km target is within touching distance now, hopefully tomorrow!
As it usually does, the walk helped improve my glucose levels from 5,9 mmol/l fastilng down to 5,5 before breakfast.
Carrying on with the horticultural theme of recent photographs, here is a photo from my own garden featuring the spectacularly spikey yucca rostruta.

I have a fondness for palms and other exotic looking plants so I managed to collect a few in the garden. Not everything I plant survives our climate but I try!
Enjoy the weekend everyone!

My latest HbA1c was 34 , and I am so happy with that But now my GP wants me off metformin and I know my levels will be much higher then , and I cant eat this level of carbs anymore as I do now , I am so sad because I found it so wonderfull that I have been able to eat around 200 grams of carbs daily and have space for some wonderful treats of the sinful kinds ... hmm I did convince her to let me stay on metformin another 4 month But then she’ll take me off or lower me to take only 1 pill of 850 mg ... she also wanted med to down in levothyroxine again and seems to not care that metformin can make thyroxin stimulating hormon too low creating a false picture of how high the bodies metabolism rate is ...
I am not pleased because this will also highten my general blood glucose. So it seems I need to go lower in carbs and because of much raised cholesterol I also need to go lower fat , it seems an unrealistic road to go leaving space only for more proteins which I am already high in
I am having exactly the same argument with my gp about metformin and levo. She didnt even know that there was an interaction and was not interested when I told her that there was a problem, just insisted that she knew what she was doing. She told me that my problems with onging hypothyroidism symptoms was down to chronic fatigue syndrome. I did manage to get a referral to an endo from her, but I think they will cancel.it.
It is so depressing when we really do.know more than the gp but they refuse to admit they have got it wrong.
