What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all. Exactly 4.0 today. Guessing it’s lower as for the first time in ages I was woken by my alarm so in a deep sleep. That, and fish for dinner!

Four day week today - off away for the weekend. Yay!

Wasn’t going to check bg this morning as I assumed it’d be sky high, but old habits die hard and I did - 5.3 I’m quite frankly amazed!
Hope its a good omen for the rest of the day!

5.6 for me at 0700.
Couple of things about the Freestyle Libra;
I could see that I dipped below 3 at around 2am.
After my sauna yesterday I foolishly checked my reading (you can just hold your phone to the disc and the app does the rest).
Reading of 9.3 - Whaaaat!!!!!
Dashed downstairs and did a finger prick test - 5.3.
Freestyle Libra not likee saunas.

That’s not miserable. It’s within the commonly accepted limits of moment-to-moment toxicity, and still gives you plenty of room to improve. Trends, and having the patience & curiosity to figure out what influences them over time is the key to success. Obsessing over the individual data points is merely the key to stress :)

Great fbg, great lady, proper fighter. Whole forum wishes you well but you have an amazing family so all will be well.
 
Morning all another great nights sleep in my new bed :) I’m going to see my consultant this afternoon about my diabetes control speaking of I’m 4.6 today which would be good but I’ve been told this is too low for me in the mornings anyway have a good day everyone:)
