What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.3 this morning, which is in the impaired range, unlike yesterday.

Well, I'm on holiday, I slept after lunch instead of going for my usual walk yesterday. I paid for it last night as my blood sugar was elevated, and now this morning. I won't do that again. Don't Italian's have siestas after lunch? It's not such a good idea for blood sugar control issues. Walking 15 minutes after eating flattens my blood sugar rise.

The study is from the University of Otago, NZ: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27747394 10 minutes after each meal is a more effective way of controlling blood sugars than a single 30-minute walk a day.
