What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.2 - get in! (I'm sure the Optislim Shake will push my +1hr up, but as long as the weight is coming off I can live with a little spike!)

Patience, Omer, patience! It took me a good 6 months to get where I am now, even with the help of metformin to lower my insulin resistance. You're doing okay. Onwards and downwards . . . :D

Hi, Omer your doing okay.
I have been with high BS since dec 2009 and still stuck with them even now!
Insulin increased and antibiotics whoop! up they stay... 13.4 this morn.
When will they start to behave? O dear...
I didnt dare say earlier but since seeing omers post this 'should' reassure him. :D
Anna.

5.3 which is quite suprising for me. it is almost as if i wished it to be so and it happened! i suspect dissapointment will follow soon.

6.7 which is the best yet.

6.4 two hours post-breakfast.

5.8 Fasting (back into the 5s again - I'm pleased)
6.5 @2hours (after breakfast of tropical fruit 60g = 6g carbs and greek joghurt 6.5g carbs so I guess that was to be expected)

How to make yourself even more miserable... :( Lucky you've already tested.
5.3 is great. Don't test afterwards

Great nights kip last night, no back pain and no leg pains so tested this morning 5.6 mmol/L. The last few fasting tests I have done have all been 6.1 mmol/L to 6.3 mmol/?.

What a difference a good nights sleep can make :D

5.7 fasting
Breakfast of joghurt and raspberries and lots of coffee
@2 hours 6.1. I'm pleased with that :)

9.0 and I've posted a question on another section regarding my readings each time I woke up last night.

My liver seems to just dump throughout the night...(this may explain my poor sleep patterns).

6.00 fasting

6.3 two hours post-breakfast after exercise

5.8 again this morning, at 07:45 - no coffee this time! I'm eating too much fruit - over yesterday afternoon & evening I had 1 nectarine, 3 apricots, 3 greengages, a fresh fig (mmmmm!) and strawberries, blueberries & cream! . That's about 60g of carb in total

However, I think my summer fruit binge is nearly over, and I shall get back on the straight-and-narrow shortly. I'm quite pleased with my levels at the moment, though - always in the 5s or lower these days, which is a great improvement!
