What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.1 from Swipey and yesterday we had more eating to my meter. Tennyson, amongst others, talked about honest doubt and I can't convince myself that trick has wider benefits. @BrianDoc hug for the blister. I once ran a half marathon wearing socks which "destroyed" my right foot for a while. DD would laugh at both the half and pain. @Estragon I sympathise over #cottagepiegate. The Food Fairy does a passable line in celeriac and swede topped versions - a soupcon of cheese enhances the product. Go forth and show thy meter who's boss but maybe don't expect too much joy.

Right . . . These higher numbers just remind me just how individual I am.
Congratulations on attaining full understanding of N=1. As L P Hartley said "The past is a foreign country, they do things differently there" cottage pie with mash (potato?) top then elevated fbg - no whatsit Sherlock.

7.8 this morning but was just lying there before getting up, thinking I must get up and by the time I did get up my dp had kicked me in to the 7s lol

6.3 yesterday, guess I cannot handle butternut squash curry - 5.1 this morning that's better! Been helping to paint son's living room, all the exercise must have done me good. just don't anyone ask me to move quickly at the minute.

Greetings one and all from a Forest Heath enjoying light snow flurries. Swipey felt today was an ideal occasion for a 4.4. -:meh: I'm doing some testing of food items hitherto eschewed. All nosebag events yesterday jumped through the hoops - no rise or even a noticeable fall at 2 hrs, no Matterhorn or even a gentle Fenland hill along the way. Somewhat like a nutritional desert but definitely ate to my meter. @DEBBIESCOTT poster girl for doing all the right things in the face of adversity. Go Team D.
