What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

7.7 for me today, and a HbA1c result of 53 from GP, which is a bit of a shock as my home HbA1c same day was 44. Could explain the high fasting levels and I need to go back to the drawing board regarding management, but that is a story for a different thread.
Not too delighted today, but will sort this. Probably on my own, without following the mantra of ‘progressive condition, needs increasing meds’.

Sorry to hear that your HbA1c is not what you would desire or even expected I'm sure you will crack it though. Back to early morning swims perhaps?

7.2 this morning eek! No idea why but its been like it for the last 2 days on and off - since I had bloods done :doctor: Got a hell of a bruise where it was taken and she used a smaller needle too.
Just took bg before my main meal and its 5.6 so no idea what's up lol
