What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Serum glucose yesterday at 1.00 pm ish, part of full blood count before infusion tomorrow- assuming Drs happy with results, was 4.2. I'm ok with that and will use it as a guide. @PenguinMum good to see you in the 6s. @Ryhia great fbg. Have a great day - super salmon salad day here :woot: :woot:

The feeling of proud, sad, nervous and anxious is a weird combination that i experienced yesterday in our visit to an open day for college which my daughter is interested in and it hit me hard that this is it, she will be flying out of the nest soon..
Give them roots, and allow them to grow wings. That way they fly back when ready.

Have had a weird few days health wise. Still feeling rough, cold, cough, reaction to vaccinations,Possibly?
Yesterday fasting was 5.9. Woohoo, methinks. Then half an hour later 8.3 rising to 8.5 after breakfast, the falling to 5.1 late afternoon.
No explanation.
Today fasting 6.8.

Just goes to show how differently our bodies react to certain foods... I have no negative impact from peanuts... then there are lots of people here who don't get any spike from cauliflower but my BG spikes every single time I eat it... good thing I like the former and not the latter. :)
I am fine with cauliflower and peanuts - could live off the peanuts but would have terrible carpal tunnel. I have to wash the salt off the peanuts :arghh:

I have to stop myself from buying dry roasted peanuts, as when they are in the house I can’t stop myself from eating them, and they do nothing for my weight loss !
Yes there is that too! They don't spike me but I start to pile on the pounds which I noticed a few weeks ago so I have had to refrain!
