What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Covid and Flu Jab late yesterday afternoon. Bloods were in the high 6s in the evening, not sure if it was too many snacks (comfort eating) or a reaction to the jabs. Fbg this morning was 5.7 which is not too bad. Apart from some localised pain in both arms, feeling fine.

5.4 at 6AM after 36 hours mark... should get lower still at 60 hours mark tomorrow. Although at the moment true to my regular trends its hovering at 6.9 and heading downwards...

Forgot to mention but meant to tell all that this is part of the new experiment with roasted edamame beans on Sunday... you see I deliberately had a lot of it in salad about 250 gms during the course of the day... so my overall complex carb with higher fibre intake was almost 130 gms... about 100 gms more carbs than what I normally consume on an eating day but i did not see spikes and the FBG yesterday was a modest 6 and then 5.4 today... my inference is higher complex carb every now and then does not spike the BG to harmful zone (>7.6) but does elevate the readings a bit for subsequent days..normally at 36 hours mark i will see reading in 4s not 5s ... anyway I don't know if it helps anyone but guess it does make for an interesting observation for me in an otherwise fairly boring even if working routine ;)

Have a great rest of the day everyone. :)

Morning All. 6.7 this morning which is a relief after a slightly carbier supper last night (easier to have same as Mr PM) bet it trips me another time. Good workout weeding the heather bed this morning. Happy Wednesday everyone.
@RosemaryJackson hope you feel better soon not sleeping and getting over surgery and Gen anaesthetic are bound to be affecting your BG but you will get there.

Been away for a few days didn't over indulge ( much ) and readings have been quite good 7.8 Friday the same on Saturday and Sunday. 7.9 on Monday and 7.2 yesterday. The piece de resistance today's reading 6.6 ! I can't remember the last time I was in the 6's. :)
:woot: Reduced stress plays a huge part in bg control. Well, them's my onions but what do I know?
