What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning All. Did bring the FBG down to a 7.6 this morning after an unwelcome 8 after Christmas Day. Yesterday had son and partner round and it was all going good on the LC front until the M&S party food in the evening and I couldn’t resist but we had a lot of fun. That is it now, turkey ham and sprouts today and tomo LOL.

Morning all from a snowy Nova Scotia, 7.7 this morning, down from last night's 10.1. I was pretty good all day. Even the Christmas Jiggs dinner wasn't too bad on my sugars. A Jiggs dinner is a Newfoundland traditional dish consisting of boiled veggies and salt pork. We had turkey with ours. The boiled veggies were cabbage, turnip and potatoes, we also had peas pudding, a bread pudding, a savoury dressing and cranberry jelly. Due to my gluten intolerance I didn't have the bread pudding. I did however have the savoury dressing but made it with my gluten free bread. I had just one potato with mine. The turkey was delicious, a Royal Palm turkey we reared ourselves.

6.3 today went to a friend’s yesterday for lunch was a buffet meal mainly but some carby food spent a very pleasant day there bit like the old days but smaller though, in times past the Boxing Day gathering would be thirty or more of us yesterday was just five of us and no pub visit.
Hug for the memories of times gone by.

Very late on post but 7.5 this morning enough said on that but 1 hr post dinner now and I'm 5.6. My DP is bad atm.
Jealous of your 5.6. I had some turkey and veg soup for supper, bloods were 6.6 3hrs post meal when i remembered to check - daren't even imagine what the results would have been after an hour. :(

Afternoon all, well for the past few days my bg in the morning has been dropping. I haven't done anything different apart from being a bit less stressed  So its been 6.3 for a few days and now 6.2 perhaps its creeping to the 5s like the rest of the day!
