Being told “Oh go on, one won’t hurt you!”.
Conversely, the food police.
-8 outside - no idea of the wind chill, and I am not going out in my pjs to check. Warmer inside at 9.5 deg average. I suppose I had better whack the heating on for a bit.

No clue what is going on with my BG today except clearly my Libre is about to fail (3rd one in a row).

Libre 2.9 (graph shows that all night)
Finger prick is at the other end of the scale with a whopping 7.9. Sorry @Ashybang

EDIT: I have just retested, after taking my test kit into bed with me where it’s warmer. Now 5.7.

Would’ve given more emojis if I could
I would always test in the kitchen from now on

Thank you for the emoji wishes.
My kitchen is the coldest room in the house - currently 6.4 deg so I avoid it first thing in the morning ;)

I always test the minute I wake up, sitting on my bed (container of clean water right there). I forgot to put my test kit under my pillow last night where it stays warmer. This may have made the difference compared to the past week. But I am not going to waste more brain energy trying to figure it out.

6.3, bit dry mouth on waking, had a couple more carbs than I’ve had recently as I had a paratha with my dinner, which I though added 12g carbs to my day but I misread and it was 36!!! didn’t do me too rotten though, so, thankful..

Morning All 8.1 for me today so work to be done! I was out running errands for several hours yesterday and it was approaching 2pm and I was cold & hungry so nipped into M&S for an egg & cress sandwich to have with a mug of tea when I got in. In summer I would have chosen from the Deli/salad selection but I needed FUEL. So hands up @Ashybang you’re not alone! Hugs to ALL.

Morning all. 7.7 this morning! :D I don't understand why, I had pasta yesterday! My grandson has fractured one of his vertebra and as he lives in one room with shared kitchen, I took pasta to cook for him. He lives on first floor so maybe the going up and down the stairs helped? I wish he would come and stay with me but he says no. Keep warm on this very frosty day. :)

6.2 - Mustn’t gwumbl. Middle of night. Woke up with raging sore soft pallet infection. Couple of Strepsils, coffee and recorded “Blue Bloods” to binge-watch, phasers on Stun, so I’m in thar groove. Along with my chums here, I’m relaxing.

Oh yeah! Friday is Bin-Day, how good can it get!?
Gwumbl away if it make you feel better. it's a part of why we're here...

FBG 5.3 this morning.

That’s more like it, no sense at all to yesterday’s reading. Apart from the stress of a working day compared to a day off today. I think the decision last year to work part time has been the best for my health, mental & physical.

Very late posting 5.2 this morning. Had my clinic appointment and my Hba1c has dropped to 39. It’s not a level caused by many lows but through consistently being in range. So far I’ve managed to be in target 87 times in the last 90 days. I’m now challenging the omnipod 5 to bring me down even further to level I find acceptable as a type 1

Had another pretty bad BG 12.4 mmol this morning, following dining out last night at Carvery.
I had no potato or roast potato but did fall foul by eating Yorkshire pudding with the beef, plus some delicious carrots somehow managed to make their merry way onto my plate then into my tummy.....
Still , I expected the reading to be lower than the 12,4 mmol........
I'm on a crazy up n down rollercoaster ride for sure currently, but as long as I get back on the horse and stay on track, it ahould all improve.....
Have a great weekend folks.
Love you all.......
