I love all sorts of music, but the soundtrack of my life, what plays and replays itself over and over accompanying my thought is "We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz . . ."

Has to be George MIchael and Elton John, "Don't let the sun go down on me", is even in my funeral list!

I like David Gray, the SBS broadcast one of his live shows (Live at the Point, I think) a number of years ago which I recorded but I have lost the dvd somewhere.

This is a very personal one sort of. A band our nephew plays in I like it and it has to be part of my soundtrack.

Local ABC radio just played Boney M - Mary's Boy Child, a good reggae beat to it.

Here's the album 96 minutes worth...

    Pretty decent, john.

Kind of felt like a small gig..could almost smell the beer from the bar.

Cheers for posting that up...good luck to the lads.

    Toast and marmalade for tea,
    Sailing ships upon the sea,
    Aren't lovelier that you,
Or the games I see you play.
You more lovely than the day,
When the sun is in your eyes,
    I see through your disguise,
All the games I see you play.

I was in hospital with a infection in my leg, in the later part of 1970 when this song was released by Tin Tin. I am still thankful for my flat mate (now my partner) for paying the rent.

Leonard Cohen sings like he means it.

I bought the Live in London dvd from Amazon UK before it was released here in Australia, he has a great backing group / band behind him.
