Where is he?

Glad to see you back...

Got to say ref pain and non pain... I added more fat into my diet after having excruciating pain in my hips and legs (I believe from statin damage). I also have a tub of coconut oil in the bathroom (cheapest KTC ONE-not really good enough for me to add to food)... Anyway... After years of chronic pain, and also at one point being on full DLA, I am totally pain free.

I put this down to having more good fats in my diet. (No statins). It is worthwhile giving it ago, as you have nothing to lose (except the pain). I've always had pretty good bgs, so mine wasn't deemed to be neuropathy, I've had tests for amyotrophy too (negative) and nothing helped me other than increasing fats.

Just an observation; but what purpose does the tub of coconut oil in the bathroom have? It's not too clear............

Ahem.

:eek::eek:
I'm reminded of some film or the other now, where the hero did something like that, maybe it was Arnie in his younger days ?
Almost total desensitisation? Hmmm... I know there is a vitamin deficiency that causes similar....off to the Batcave to have a look ....

are you thinking of Sly in Rambo? I think he does something like that, then he manages (in the middle of the jungle no less!) to sow his arm practically back on lol !! They dont make films like that anymore ;)

Coconut oil in bathroom... Sorry.. I use that as a moisturiser on legs.. As it is totallly natural.. Lots of good reviews for skincare, so I specifically use it on face n legs now... To me I think its brilliant. Sorry.. Just got side tracked n carried away!!

HELLooooooo!:D:D:D

Welcome back ! You have been missed, and it's really good to see you!
It sounds like you've been having a really bad time, and I'm sorry to hear that :( It sounds sorta weird , is it just pain you're not feeling, or all types of sensation?

Hi -- sounds like you need a load of referrals to specialists as soon as possible. Not least to a neurologist, as Indy says -- have you had an NCV test yet? It's at least possible that this is a very extreme reaction to the B12 shots -- they can cause rashes and nerve disorders. I would have thought an urgent referral to a specialist endocrinologist would be advisable. If there is a long wait for an appointment then think of going private, at least for an initial diagnosis. So often it's the diagnosis that is the crucial issue, and that is where NHS delays can be (literally) fatal. If people are struggling to get referrals for a serious condition I would always urge them to try to get diagnosis privately, then have the treatment on NHS.

That's progress :)

I just heard from the letting agent that a house I rent out has had the walls scratched in every room by a cat. Apparently the damage is way beyond the security deposit. Then I came on here and saw that picture under your post. How it made me laugh.

It wasn't me and "diabolicat" , honest !:eek:

That's one helluva lot of cat damage though ! As I am a "Crazy Cat Lady in Training " I am currently owned by five cats and there's practically no damage . Probably because they are free range and strop their claws outdoors . Perhaps they kept poor Tiddles inside ? ;)

It is through to the plaster apparently and some of the woodwork and furniture may be the same. Might cost me thousands. So much for investing for my retirement.

Actually , I just remembered that when three of my Furry Stormtroopers were kittens I lived in a rented flat for a while. The kittens became addicted to the silicone seal around the windows, and stripped most of it out :eek: When I came to leave I found they had stashed a large amount behind a bookcase for some inexplicable feline reason

But I did have to re silicone every window before I left to get my deposit back :banghead:
