Yes, someone one here posted about a burger press...must buy one, as mine always turn out a bit rubbish!
The site the Reddit link goes to doesnt appear to cite Dr Unwin as a resource re carnivore diet, rather it lists him asan advocate and says that he is following a zero carb carnivore diet himself - Ive seen a lot from him re low carb and think he covers that very cogently, but havent seen anything from him re the carnivore dietJust a gentle reminder that this thread was started as a resource for carnivores.
We’ve already had some derailments into why non carnivores think it is a bad way of eating. Of course if people want to continue that discussion they can do so by starting another thread. Likewise, there are plenty of food and recipe threads out there.
Further derailing posts will be deleted.
Meanwhile, this discussion can return to the OP’s theme.
I’ve now had a good rummage around the reddit page linked to by @bulkbiker in the original post, and there are some fabulous sources there.
Although I do wonder how Dr David Unwin feels about being listed as a carni resource
I have recently splashed out on a 23andme genetic test (mainly because of Alzhiemers in the family, and needing to assess my own risk), but I will be very interested in whether anything shows up on the test results to explain why my body does so excellently on carni, and not so well on those pesky veg.

Has anyone got a link to back up the claim on Reddit?
Maybe, just maybe, they feel better, and it works for them.Just out of interest - why? Looking at the HbA1c results in everyone's signatures, they look normal. Why restrict your diet even further?

What is a GBK Pattie please?GBK patties are zero carb - they sell their branded ones in supermarkets. Just meat, salt and pepper and pretty tasty.

Just finished up my last Green and Blacks 85% choc... going to try beef only OMAD for January..
Like it the best...from mince to steaks and any cut in between.. and I'm already 95% carnivore.Curious - why just beef though?

Being an antisocial old git I don't really find that a problem and for my meal out this month (as its my birthday) i'll find somewhere suitable steaky.. probably the Coal Hole in Brighton. I cooked up 7 sirloin steaks in my sous vide yesterday so that's this week sorted..
Seven sirloin steaks over the weekend?! Sounds pretty good to me! Whenever I fancy a meat-loaded meal out, I head to one of the Brazillian restaurants, where they come round with loads of different cuts of meat.
Yep along with coffee with cream and tea with lactofree milk.. so far down 2.8 pounds since Jan 1 possibly burning off Christmas "excess" which consisted a lot of 90% choc and possibly more pigs in blankets than were advisable while cooking Christmas lunch. So you are doing Beef and OMAD?
I’m tuning in to your daily reports / progress.
Bleurgh.I caught an interesting show over Christmas the subject was a guy who ate only raw meat ,i have come across this before but not the extent this guy went to.
he would leave organ meat in jars [2 weeks]until it had fermented/liquefied then eat it.
But what capped it for me was leaving out cuts of meat open air until black with maggots!
Has been doing this for 6 years or so with no ill health.
pretty hardcore.
Myself a light weight , cooked mince beef with just a few slices of select veg to tune the flavour and no maggot sprinkles
