Been a member s while but not posted. Type 1 following Type 2 diagnosis then DKA in 2018. On Tresiba & Novorapid using a Libre 2 sensor.
I was diagnosed in 2023 with ADHD & after monitoring sharp rises & sharp drops in BG definitely alibi between then & ADHD feelings: very little research of correlation however that I can find.

Hi there. I'm type 1 and looking at Mounjaro. My diabetic team won't prescribe it. Are you on a pump and what can you advise re how to monitor etc.

Newly diagnosed as having prediabetes following an annual blood test review at the GP. 42mmol/mol or 6%. Currently blaming my bonkers, stress-filled lifestyle as a (new) family carer and my love of sweet things. Radically changing my diet and stepping up the dog walking. CGM installed, up and running.

i am new to all this but can i get a bit of help on airport security and libre 2 on my arm and one in my bag .what do i do .please help .

Fit and active T1 diagnosed in 1976 - fortunately I’m retired!
Diabetes is insulin and diet (well) controlled.

I'm a CDCES and nurse practitioner who is failing retirement ;) I'm looking forward to learning from all of you re: living with your "constant companion" (DM) and offering help as is appropriate. Hi, this is a completely unrelated topic apart from the T1 diagnosis that we both have. I have close relatives in Scotland as my dad lived there for a while getting on for 80 years ago…. His surname was Usher and I just wondered if this is yours? Hope you don’t mind me asking… thanks.

Hi I am Coeliac with type 2 diabetes and would like a solid meal plan for me. Can anybody suggest something as my morning fast number is 8.4 at present.

Hi there, UK T1D. I have been MDI since diagnosis approx.32 yrs ago. I have, in the past, been offered a pump by DSN but didn’t want tubed one. Now the compact and discrete Omnipod 5 and Omnipod Dash are on the scene.
Are they funded or do you need to self fund?
