Hi. I am Diane. When I first got told I had T2 I dieted and was good. Then my Mother in Law had to live with us, a lovely lady but starting with Altzimers, didnt help my blood sugars. I have put on weight and dont seem able to remove it. Can someone give advice please.

You’ve posted this on your profile page where it may not be seen by many members, it may be best if you repost on the T2 or ask a question forum then it will be seen by all our mrmbers who can share their experiences and tips with you :)

Yes you are. Say what you like. I just told a group of strangers about my Metformin digestive issues, how I want to punch my doctor etc etc.

I don't know who would say that but I think you should be welcome as long as you follow the rules. Rules like no swearing, fair enough, but the stress we have from so called professionals, means we need somewhere to turn to, and many of us who are on this forum have had the same. Take care, try and come back, contact the moderators. I had not noticed anything bad on your posts.

Hi, I am T1D and conducting a study about navigating adulthood with T1D. This study is for my final year dissertation at Leeds Beckett University. I am looking for T1D people aged 18-30 from the Uk to take part in my interview study. Do I have permission for this?

Hi I recently posted a thread on the forum but was told I needed approval from yourself? It was for research purposes for university. Can I ask it be approved so I can use the feedback for a project I’m working on.

so I've got the go ahead to start on a TSlim pump. On diagnosis last year I was started on 16 units of lantus and 1 to 10 CHO novorapid.
Im now 6 units lantus and using about 3-4 units of novorapid a day and am 98% in range with a high that is never over 11.
Any ideas?

Hi Seniz, you’ve posted your question on your profile where not many members will notice it, you may get better answers if you post on the main forum, although forum rules don’t allow members to give medical advice or advice on medication they can share their experiences so hopefully there will be someone who can help :)

Eating healthy , lost so much weight, walking daily and still high results of Blood sugar level like 10 /11/12

Have had Diabetes Type 2 since, at least, 2005, but may have been since 1994, when I had Gestational Diabetes. Nobody bothered to check. I'm disabled, mainly due to Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue, along with damage to the base of my spine, causing Sciatica in both hips and legs. I have lots of Crafty hobbies, but don't get chance to follow them much, due to Osteo-arthritis in both hands.
