Without a doubt, the deep fried ones are much nicer, so I agree with your grandson.

But I don't (and won't) have a deep fat fryer, so I do them in a little coconut oil.

Either way is nicer than those weird pre-made abominations that are sold to be oven cooked. :)
I agree with you entirely. The ones I bought from supermarket went in the bin. Thanks for info.

I've gone off the wagon for the last couple of days - but it's always in the back of your mind, can't ignore it completely..

B. 2 fried eggs 2 streaky rashers, 1 fried tomato 1 think slice seeded bread
L. 3 slices home cooked ham, about 12 McCain Wedges, home cooked red cabbage.
Later this eve..cuppa soup, jelly & cream

B - a few almonds, camomile tea
L - salad with lettuce, 1/2 avocado, tomato, cucumber, balsamic vinegar, followed by wholemilk yogurt & almonds
D - same salad as above with two vegetarian sausages, piece of white stilton cheese

B: peanut butter mug cake
L: broccoli & stilton soup with coconut flour flatbread
D: venison meatballs with stroganoff sauce, cauli mash; cream whipped with lemon curd, blueberries

Did an interesting experiment today with Cadbury's Dairy Milk. Wanted to prove that it was bad for my BS levels to keep me on the straight and narrow, as I did with bread a few weeks ago! So BS level before eating 50g choc was 6.3; 2 hours later was 7. I was expecting it to be much higher than that. Does this mean I'm able to eat ****** chocolate but not bread?!!

I think it might mean it could have been interesting to test for a little longer. The fat content of chocolate can delay the rise and fall. I hope you enjoyed it.

D. Roast beef, gravy, boiled leeks and a roast parsnip:)
