Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Put the flags out, my few little changes, cutting back the cream, using almond milk in place of cow’s milk etc... and being strict with my daily walks, have done the trick! I’ve lost 1.3kg this week. I’m so pleased, I really thought 82kg was it! But today I’m 80.7kg

Started 115kg 9th May’17
Today 80.7kg 23rd March’18
Total lost = 34.3kg/5stone 5 1/2lb

Wish I could double or triple ‘like’ your post. Incredible job!

hmm up to 93.5 .. I really don´t understand that , I count calories and have been eating 1400 calories daily the last two weeks... it´s insane I can gain on so few calories even doing resistance and endurance excercise 2 x 4 hours every week....

Hi @Freema do you think it’s possible that you’re eating too little and your body is trying to hang on to what it can? Your exercise regime is quite demanding. I know that my gym visits stoke up hunger and I’m learning to listen to my body and eat when it demands to be fed!

Wow, a lot of weight loss going on this week. Congrats to all, and also to those not losing but still posting!

Late posting today - I weighed myself this morning and dashed out of the house as I walked to my school in the next town (4 miles :) ) - part of the schools fundraising efforts for Sports Relief.

Weight at diagnosis on 5.4.17 - 115.3 kg BMI 39.8
Lowest weight - 64.0kg BMI 22.1
Weight today 64.2 kg BMI 22.2
Total weight lost as of today 51.1kg

Not trying to lose any more - have been maintaining below my goal weight of 68kg since November 2017 - but hanging out on this thread as I keep trying to get the balance right :)

0.4kg down this week

Great achievement!

Still not well so decided I'm not going to weigh myself til over this nasty virus. I'm anaemic and taking iron tablets but haven't stopped my late period bleeding for 2weeks. :( Another doctors appointment, especially since pain in damaged ovary side.

Looks like your losing for both of us!
Its great news. Its cheered me up. :)

Poor you <3 - I do hope that you are feeling better soon. It's been a tough winter for you

Hooray! Keeping lower fat (as well as low obviously) in most things certainly helped me get right down to my current weight :)

no not really, Ï do eat some more the days I exercise a lot... and less the other days.. maybe I build muscle instead of losing.. even if it should not be possible... I think I have more water in my body too, last time I lost a lot I only ate 1000 calories a day... I think I have genes from the stone age where I would survive any winter on hardly any food... today I was cold and had to take extra clothes on to keep warm... it must come if I continue .... somewhere I read about a trial with US soldiers where they were put on a diet of 1600 calories...for 6 months... they all lost a lot but spontanusly ate after that so that they gained more than what they weighed before their diet... it seemed their brains shrunk and also their hearts so that they could eat less and keep almost the same weight ... it was a bad outcome of the trial, done on normal average soldiers not even really overweight in the first place... some seeems to have a body that needs to be fooled not to shrink brain and heart and other vital organs... like the 2:5 diet.... but it doesn´t fit my character unfortunately, I am better at doing almost the same every day and not too complicated strategies

Yes indeed and it’s good to know that I have a few things to add back in when I reach target. Funnily enough my starting weight was very close to yours and so is my target weight to get me to a healthy BMI. So I aspire to your success x

Good morning 146 lbs last week and 145 lbs this week so a loss of 1 lb. I was interested reading how cutting cream had made a difference and I think I need to try that. I increased swimming this week and have swam 5 times with a total of 4hours 45 mins so I need to do something else to spur on the weight loss. I thought it would be gardening but the weather does not seem to agree.

Well done everybody on the fantastic weight loss this week.

A little late as its Monday not Friday but Sunday is my check day for lots of stuff including my weight.

June 28th 2017 - 91.8 kgs (202.4 lbs) - Starting Weight
March 25th 2018 - 78.5 kgs (173.1 lbs)

Pretty pleased with this althought theere is a lttle "disappointment as my target is 78.03 kg (15%) so I still need to lose 0.5kgs :)

I couldnt resist but weigh myself this morning.
I was 127.70kgs so better than the 129.90kg I weighed last week so....
I'm happy to note this as my loss for this week and hope Friday weigh-in reflects this too.
So I've lost 2.2kgs approx. 5lb loss. :) :) :)

I'm tempted to weigh myself...still hugely bloated thou.
125.00gs exactly. So down 0.6 from yesterday, it seems. Fingers crossed this gets sorted out asap.
Not sure whether to weigh-in as soooo constipated. At a&e yesterday as was afraid to take codeine so I became very unwell. Now need another med. Laxative. It's never ending. :(

Weighing in as.... .... 125.60kgs :(
After 2 days of no bowel movement.

So now 127.70kgs as of 28/03/18
Im ready to lose again.
Tramadol and 3 other painkillers.
I walked out yesterday briefly so I have a base to restart from, in exercise and weight.
No metformin for me. Just insulin. More; but I was close to a hypo on Monday so looking promising for reduction.
I'm feeling optimistic again.
Due to no metformin I can tell whether spotting is due to Hormones or due to off/on metformin.
Seeing GP next week for an up-to-date medication list for my onward hospital appointments. Will mention constant period pain but irratic menstrual cycle. All interfering with weight loss.
I saw a poster say iron tablets won't benefit me for 8wks but I'm feeling more energetic without metformin and it's side effect.

95.9 kg this morning; last Friday 96.6 kg. 5x in gym, min 10 000 steps a day, LCHF. Target: 90 kg on 1th of June.

Logging on Thursday according to bank holiday.

Well, I'm still 105kg.

I was expecting to be half of that by now, I mean, it's been three whole weeks :arghh::mad:;)

Maybe my scales are broken?

Morning all.

Well the zero carbing (with one or two aberrations) seems to have worked, first proper weight loss in a number of weeks - down 0.8kg (1.8 lbs), taking me to exactly 60kg and giving me a 90 pound overall weight loss. And a full percentage point reduction in body fat.

Very happy with that.
