Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Morning all
@ianspurs well done on overwintering and still losing overall this has been a tough winter this recent third snowfall was a bit demoralising and now weather forecasters talking about a cold possibly snowy Easter - stand away from that chocolate! Hope you’re sticking to the 100% stuff it’s got great anti oxidants in it.
@Goonergal well done on your steady loss and great going with the measurements you really are getting there.
I’ve maintained the pound lost on holiday so am 2 pounds below my ideal weight which gives me some wriggle room for weekend! I seem to have adapted to three meals a day again really well without gaining weight so no more fasting planned except for normal overnight and no snacks unless creep beyond ideal when I’ll bring the big guns in !

@shelley262 Thanks for the advice! Chocolate I prefer is Lindt 99% which last weekend was mixed with double cream for lots of ganache in the big refeed. Going back to 2 meals per day - roughly 20:4 pattern - has moved me back into slow and steady progress towards target by June. I don't want a BMI lower than 22 so around 11St 8Lbs or 73.4 kgs. Tried to go too fast last week and fbg took a hit.

Sounds like a plan If something works keep it going.

Morning all - a pound off this week - taking me to 12st 3pounds - one more pound and I'll have lost 2 stone - fingers crossed I can smash that this week. I'm eating more calories now while maintaining a low carb diet - so I'm happy a pound still came off.

@eggs11 well done. It’s so odd isn’t it after a lifetime e of the calories in calories out mantra to see the evidence in your own body that it just isn’t true. Whenever I meet people I haven’t seen for a while who comment on my much reduced size and they ask me what I did I always start by saying I ate more calories as it’s accurate but funny to see their reactions! They clearly don’t believe me but there again the health professionals didn’t believe me when I said I was sticking to my low fat calorie counted diet and exercise but still not losing!
You’ll get your target I’m sure.

I was doing a 1000 calories a day low carb for a while as a slightly higher calorie version of the Blood Sugar Diet, which I must say was very effective for fast weight loss, but I sensed it's time to now switch to low carb with a bit of fasting thrown in sometimes, as this will be more sustainable going forward. As a long-time serial dieter myself, I know what you mean. it's a revelation that the 'calories in, calories out' theory is a load of old xxxx!

Put the flags out, my few little changes, cutting back the cream, using almond milk in place of cow’s milk etc... and being strict with my daily walks, have done the trick! I’ve lost 1.3kg this week. I’m so pleased, I really thought 82kg was it! But today I’m 80.7kg

Started 115kg 9th May’17
Today 80.7kg 23rd March’18
Total lost = 34.3kg/5stone 5 1/2lb

What a superstar well done amazing what a little change has done great discovery how a little tweak has changed things back again off your plateau

hmm up to 93.5 .. I really don´t understand that , I count calories and have been eating 1400 calories daily the last two weeks... it´s insane I can gain on so few calories even doing resistance and endurance excercise 2 x 4 hours every week....

Great achievement!

Still not well so decided I'm not going to weigh myself til over this nasty virus. I'm anaemic and taking iron tablets but haven't stopped my late period bleeding for 2weeks. :( Another doctors appointment, especially since pain in damaged ovary side.

Looks like your losing for both of us!
Its great news. Its cheered me up. :)
