What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Well done on the 4's. I'm getting between the 4's and 5's again but that's the best it's been in a couple of weeks despite the best efforts of the tiny terrors.
There's been a few saying how good Bohemian Rhapsody is, although there have been reports that it is a very 'sanitised' version of Freddie. I dare say they couldn't really include half of what he got up to.

Peace now reigns in my household. Boys were excellent at swimming and safely deposited at home.

I think it’s incredible that you are in 4s and 5s again!

I dare say the film was sanitised a bit, but if all the sordid details were included I doubt it would be such an entertaining film. I heard Brian May on the radio last week saying how the actors had completely ‘got’ the individual characters. My only regret was that the cinema was only 1/2 full ( we went at lunchtime) it would have been great to sit with a full audience if everyone had sung or clapped along. I really struggled not to do the ‘stamp stamp clap’ along to We wil Rock You!

Evening all
B: DD breakfast sandwich.
L: Roast lamb with roast celeriac, roast broccoli and buttered cabbage

Wont have anything else until dinner tommorow now, except copious quantities of tea.
Interestingly I heard on the radio just now that Cliff Richard only ever eats one meal a day - maybe that’s why he’s worn so well.

I agree - just the right level re sanitised. Or it would have been slapped a 21 rating. Our cinema was full, but well behaved audience. I was probably the only singing as the credits rolled.

B: Bullet proof coffee x 1
L: Spicy mince beef with side of stir fry aubergine, onion, mushrooms and courgettes.
Snack: mixed nuts and green tea.
No Dinner. Just more tea all evening and all day tomorrow until Dinner time. I am on OMAD

I haven't seen the film, but they were absolutely FAB when I saw them live in the 80s. Freddie Mercury had a mesmerising stage presence.

We should go some time.

Bed 5 FBG 5.6. Reasonable morning. Heard the tiny terrors but they actually played nicely until 8.30am without killing each other. Didn't eat for a while as busy feeding them then son wanted to go shopping. Eventually flung together a 'something' at 12.30 before swimming lessons.

B. Nothing
L. Tassimo Americano grande with a dash of cream and the 'something' which was lo dough stuffed with grated cheese, ham , chopped tomato, mustard, folded into a wrap and fried in the pan. Was OK.
D. Will happen shortly as currently sitting at 4.4. Roast chicken and stuffing, celeriac dauphinoise, sugar snaps and tenderstem broccoli. Currently enjoying a campari and soda.
Will probably have some Halo Top and berries. Was going to make a chocolate pear cake but didn't have the energy.
Tomorrow will be spent restoring order.

Back home thankfully - two days to catch up on
Yesterday
Breakfast bacon and egg
Lunch on the go m and s rollitos half @ pack

Dinner steak on a bed of mushroom sauce and a few halloumi fries followed by one piece of Lidl 81% choc ( on offer half price at moment and really liked the bit I had ) it has 3G of carb per square but quite big squares.
OHs brother and us sorted out his loft and lots of boxes are now heading for our loft! Planning to get them up there tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Dry, mild weather here - long may it continue. Mojo seems to be MIA today for no obvious reason.
Breakfast: - Lots of tea -
Dockey : After dog walk for 1 hr Tea
Lunch : Very large Avocado and Mackerel salad
Mid Afternoon: Tea - just to mix it up a bit
Evening meal: Chicken mayo, celery and cucumber - really wish I had added some walnuts and few slices of apple

How is the weekend almost over already :arghh:
Coffee with cream on waking
B 90 second microwave bread topped with cheese and grilled
L homemade sweet potato and parsnip soup, thought I’d try to re create what was so enjoyable at the farm last weekend, it was very smooth but quite sweet to my tastebuds, also although just inside the permissible 2mmol rise I didn’t enjoy seeing a 7 so won’t make/have it again
D omelette with feta cheese, tomato and couple of rashers of bacon

I was fortunate at that time t live close to the Westfallenhalle, which is directly adjacent to Borussia Dortmund's football ground. Between one venue or the other, we saw some fabulous acts and events.

@maglil55 - Please tell me you have low carbified this one? I can't think of the last time I had a pudding, but that appealed.

This evening I have made MrB an individual rhubarb crumble, with probably the last of this year's rhubarb. In this hacienda that's like giving up one's last Rolo. :wideyed:

Evening all. Finally achieved my dream of playing for an official Arsenal team today. @ianpspurs look away from the pics.

Pre-match meal was 2 Waitrose free range Cumberland sausages and 2 fried eggs

Post match meal was a small mixed grill at a Turkish cafe near the Emirates. Assorted shish/kofte cubes, 2 chicken wings, 1 lamb cutlet.

Still hungry 2 hours later and BG had gone down so made a version of lazy mousse - mixed some M&S whipped creamy cheese with double cream and a teaspoon of Lidl cocoa powder. Pretty good.

Nice pics. Very much like Lanesra - may well use that myself.
