7.6@ 6.45am . Woke up to the cat scratching the carpet to go out, then had a hot shower and tested bg level. Have noticed previously, testing immediately after a hot shower results in higher readings. Am I alone in this?

Hi what do you shower with it could be the shower gel your using try throughly washing your hands before every check see if its that if the readings are still high then you know for sure

Took 2 readings this morning at 08:00 first was 6.7 second was 6.4
From like 5.4s before Christmas.
Then realised I went a bit overboard with the berries last night . Checked the carb content and saw I gad about 25 to 30 grs after my dinner last night . So off for a long tramp around the park . Not a happy bunny ,but . My own fault
