What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Hi all hope you’ve had a good Valentine’s Day.
As sun promised after dense early morning fog decided to rush around and get essential tasks and duties done and then go on Valentine’s Day hike what a wonderful idea an amazing day. Believe it or not me and OH even caught the sun and have pink cheeks in mid February.
Accidental Omad as too busy first thing getting stuff sorted and then powered by flasks of coffee and cream on long hike - 24,000 steps.
Valentines dinner celeriac dauphinois ( why did I never do this before it’s amazing!) steak and buttered mushrooms with half a bottle of red wine followed by slice lc lemon cake with yoghurt and double cream yum!
Hope everyone has a lovely valentines evening. We are planning another hike tomorrow as we enjoyed today’s so much.

Sounds like a wonderful day, just the thing to recharge your physical and mental batteries.

My food today such as it was! Had a long awaited op on my foot to fuse my arthritic joints. Peak blood sugar in recovery was 7.6 so pleased with that. Was offered toast and biscuits in recovery which I politely declined!
Anyway food was:
No breakfast.
No lunch.
Mid afternoon: raspberry phd bar and black coffee.
Dinner: cheese omelette and salad. I ordered a full fat yoghurt in the hopes it would be suitable but it was toffee flavour! :banghead: However I had my Greek yoghurt and a SF jelly I’d bought in with me instead.

Amazing post op bg @Rachox. How are you feeling?

@Rachox Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery.
@DJC3 @maglil55 @DCUKMod Right....I've downloaded the app and set up an account. I'm guessing CMT works a bit like Pinterest?

Okay, no doughnuts, scones or croissants were harmed in today's menu!

Breakfast: Rose and raspberry chia pudding. Orange flavoured HM Valentines choc (85% Lindt). Usual coffee.
Lunch: Brie and bacon frittata with salad.
Dinner: Moussaka with green salad. Another choc. Decaf tea.

Breakfast: tea, no grain granola, milk. Hovis biscuit with cottage cheese. Both need eating and H wont touch either. Also adds calories and carbs in acceptable amounts.
XBX level 15, no skips today. Have discovered that skips should be 100 per minute... Umm I don't think so. At least not yet.
Coffee
Lunch: 2 slices ham, 30g cheese, tiny potato salad, satsuma, coffee. Was feeling stuffed before the satsuma, but need calories earlier in the day.
Cup of tea
According to App have only 7g fat left in allowance for the day :(
Dinner: Valentines day supper: king prawns & scallops fried in butter, with chili and garlic. , Do you want to know about the prawn head and cream sauce? Served with french beans and red pepper strips dressed with tomato puree and lemon. Delicious, and barely a carb in sight. Dessert, we both had berries, about 40g he had ice cream, i had greek yoghurt, dash of cream for both :)
Of course there was wine, Rose fizz for both of us. We are romantic
Cheese and biscuits after. I had two, he ate four. Goats cheese log, jarlsberg and manchego to go with them.

Am still over 1k calories short since Friday :(
