Just typical yesterday Ron was suppose to go to his next appointment at derby , but as luck would have it he had yet another relapse. So had to cancel . Today however he’s up dressed and more human than he was yesterday. Just typical. Now he has to wait for the next set of appointments to be released .

What a difference the fine weather has made to Ron’s health . He’s not had any relapses with M.E. . He’s been able to get out in the garden . On the down side the fibromyalgia pain is getting worse .

Woke with leg pain then stiff neck pain. Headache too.
Celebrated son's birthday with a piece of cake. No IBS symptoms yet. Ironically too many raw carrots can trigger, for me.
No alcohol for me.

Son asked if it can be a birthday weekend celebration. I've agreed it. (only because cake has gone and not buying any more carby foods)
So today is a low carb celebratory day. :)

Morning @ickihun is there any news on when your op is yet?
I'm now on their 18wk waiting list.

Lady who did my annual eye test said many people who do my op get remission but still have to go to annual checks. I told her I'm only expecting half meds I'm on... after op. Not expecting remission due to being too long a diabetic.
I will do low carb once I'm ideal weight (10st off) and hope for a near remission. I'll try.
I'm not giving up yet. :)

Today Ron managed to get a gp appointment. He’s now on increased meds . Rons spasms have been getting worse so gp has upped the baclofen to 2 tablets 3x a day. He’s also increased the pregabalin to 200 mgs twice a day . Gp is also referring Ron for physio , who will come out to him apparently it’s some new service they’ve started. As for Ron being discharged from derby , it turns out that instead of the receptionist cancelling the appointment she’s put it down as a D.N.A. So the therapist is having a meeting this week with the specialist to see if Ron can be seen .

Gee whiz! If this wasn't all so terribly important, it'd be a comedy of errors or a classic British farce.

Keep fighting the good fight for you both Tina. You both deserve better.

Ron has put in a complaint with derby . The therapists hasn’t really helped matters much as she has told the specialist that Ron hasn’t had any contact with them since last July which is a lie . The last 2 appointments with her had to be done over the phone due to pleurisy coming back . Also Ron has sent her several emails to which she hasn’t replied . So when he got the letter discharging he emailed her again . She phoned him and said that she didn’t realise that Ron expected her to reply to his emails .

Got a bit of good news for a change . Yesterday the therapist phoned and Rons back in at derby. The hospital have said it was a clerical error . Only because we were able to prove I phoned and cancelled his appointment and not as they first said that we didn’t just not bother to turn up.

I have Asperger Syndrome which is an autism spectrum condition and a full diagnosis of Adult ADHD which are characterised by impairments in social communication, social interaction and social imagination. I also have a rigid and somewhat unpredictable routine. I also experience obsessive rituals, some a bit overwhelming. But I have a talent in articulate creative writing skills and possess a photographic rote memory. I have sensory sensitivity and get upset by loud noises, bright colours or lights, and notice the texture and consistency of certain foods more making my dietary choices extremely limited or restricted to certain food components. I dislike conflict and lies. The Adult ADHD also makes me very moody and cross.
good afternoon, my lovely type 2 life friends,

I'm so sorry I haven't been logging on. I've had no broadband connection in my council flat owing to a complication in my financial guardianship arrangement. I'm still hanging in there waiting for my move to my shared lives network assisted living accommodation. I was hoping to have been moved by Christmas last year and then a date was set for Tuesday 5th march 2019 but that never happened, either. diabetic glycaemic control is terrible and my blood glucose levels have been in the late teens and early twenties, interchangeably. I'm now logging on at durning library in kennington lane, se11, because I can't go to tate south lambeth library because of max but I understand he's got bail conditions to leave me alone. I'm hoping to get my broadband and sky talk sorted this coming Tuesday, if I'm not let down again.

lots of love, hugs and intercessionary prayer to you all.

@JohnnyBaker87, an individual with moderate to severe Asperger syndrome, adult adhd and mild dyscalculia and chronic mechanical back pain, a type of musculoskeletal disorder xXx.

Let's hope they tell you what they are treating him FOR.
Poor man what a carry on he's having with your nhs.
I know you are standing by his side. Thank god he has someone who can push for the help he NEEDS. Argh!!!
So any further help from his GP, hun?

Not from the gp but at derby they have given him 6 months of open appointments. Plus he has been told he is eligible for hospital transport .

I've sent past 4mths filling in disability forms and assessments.
I'm absolutely shattered with it all.
I need a PA. HA HA
Mr ickihun is a huge help but I'm way less efficient than I was.
I used to manage and train some of the most awkward and I.T illiterate railway office workers, in the City of London and surrounding counties.

I'm hoping after bariatric surgery I'll slowly start getting back to being my efficient self. I miss having a workforce. :(

hi, @ickihun, I am glad to be back as I log on to diabetes.co.uk from pc no 5 at the durning library, kennington lane, kennington, London, se11. I had 3 slices of toast with melted cheese on which I ate up my table underneath the window in my lounge with an orange handled knife and a turquoise handled fork. I'm also a member of a social activities group called people first lambeth for people with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disabilities. I've been offered swimming lessons through them as well as art, drama and dj'ing on a amateur resident's radio station which will be broadcasted in care homes across the borough.

I'm still waiting for my move. my care coordinator and I are going to complete my tenancy relinquishment form for my council flat, then i'll be able to move to Celestine's who is my shared lives plus carer.

I am now at a little Internet Cafe near to a good, close friend's Council Flat in Kennington in South East London. This morning a very good Carer called Velda came to my flat and assisted me to do some housework and checked I had remembered my medication. She asked me to tidy all my documentation off of my sitting room drop-leaf dining table and I did it and placed all my documentation in my chest of drawers and then sprayed Flash Ultra on the surface of my table and wiped it with a yellow microfibre cloth. The Carer did some washing up in the kitchen and put all my crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils in my kitchen wall cupboards. My blood sugar today was 16.8.
