What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

@Bubbsie well done on getting through the dsy. Is it too much to suggest when crsmp happens breathe so deep it feels like it going down to your toes. Repeat.

I still have bread every day...sometimes Burgen or Tesco's high protein...Warburtons also make a whole wheat one which is roughly 11 carbs per slice...as you say try them then test...it's all about experimenting
That's good to know. But I also like jjraak's comment that one slice can lead to a second...slippery slope?

Cramps: try a little extra salt during the day? Actual cramp: Old fashioned aspirin aids circulation, stretch the cramping joint/muscle. (Best to get prof. med advice)

Hi there. Any particular bread choices? After my annual T2 review next week I plan to experiment BG outcomes of Lidl Low GI rolls, Burgen and others. Scrambled eggs don't seem quite right without the toast.
Hi TB, I generally use the Tesco high protein bread too, it's about half the carb of a normal slice of bread but also half the size, take from that what you will, still it's a nice morning treat if my scores are low and tends not to spike me too much, and mornings tend to be my most active at work which helps.

They are awful jjraak...I am going to get some of the spray...try it waking up at 4am is so knackering...just got home at 8pm...no idea how I managed to stay awake at work.

They are awful. I had them in my calves before low carb but after eating low carb, I started getting them in different muscles in my feet. (Read somewhere that a lot Type 2s are magnesium deficient.)

I take magnesium biglycinate every evening and add extra pink Himalyan salt to all my meals. (TMI - most magnesium has a laxative effect, this form doesn't. I appreciate that it doesn't have the effect because with 1/2 a colon, I don't need a laxative effect.) I haven't any cramps for a long time now.

Morning all, a 6 greeted me today, which is infinitely better than this windy, wet and ohh you get the picture. Hypo galore yesterday, it seems my body now wants to use insulin in a more efficient manner than it ever has in the last 23yrs, and tough if I have to be poorly until I get it sorted!! The pleasantries of diabetes, everyone wants it!

Take care everyone.
