Glad the ox cheek turned out well, how long did you cook it in the end?
I’m finding facebook marketplace is better than ebay for selling stuff now, Especially if postage will be high as you just join local groups in fb so buyers can collect.
Must be a record Ilea dash!
Pleased for you that your son is recovering and your mum too plus having Mr slim back will I’m sure improve things for you - sounds like a tough time for you. Boredom and stress and anxiety have a big impact both on food choices and bgs.@Chook sick of the cold, wet and windy weather as well.
@shelley262 Have seen those flood barriers, very effective and impressive. No longer live there, but consider Worcester my home city.
@Listlad have been trying to buy almond flour, perhaps this is what you needed for your Notella. Glad your daughter liked it.
@BibaBee Hope his eyes improve soon. Which river are you near? Love your tip for the LC Notella
@maglil55 you are a positive saint to make all thse different things on demand.
@PenguinMum used to make refridgerator cookies, the dough would keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge.
@BibaBee your rhubarb fool sounds wonderful.
To you all: thanks for putting up with me.
Those whole trees sometimes endanger the bridge, have known it be closed because it was shifting.Pleased for you that your son is recovering and your mum too plus having Mr slim back tomorrow will I’m sure improve things for you - sounds like a tough time for you. Flood barriers put up one side yesterday and other side of Bewdley today - bridge had to be closed while work done. River Severn - as you will know if you lived in Worcester, floods badly but takes time so at least can prepare - usually floods Worcester a day or so after Bewdley so no doubt barriers will be going up there soon. Our peak is due on Tuesday. Nipped down when finished work for today and it’s impressive in full flow swirling, deep brown and carrying whole trees in its path as it heads downstream.
You have been trying to buy almond flour? I bought mine from a local Asian store that seems to stock all manner of stuff like that.16/03
Not a good morning foodwise.just couldn't stop eating. Breakfast, yoghurt and berries, second breakfast: raspberries and coffee. snack, whole packet of dark chocolate florentines (6) snack: 2x granola with milk and cream, almonds. stopped eating at this point. several glasses of water, few cups of tea, then on to wine
My self destructive streak taking over? Just bored? Lonely? Howling winds and rain, sick of being stuck indoors?
update
There is good news as well.
Mum is allowed to leave her sling off for part of the day now. And had a visit from my son and partner last night.
He looks a bit tired, but it was his first real day out, since he was taken ill. He still has pain from one lung which is inflamed, but recovering nicely and expecting to start his new job on monday as planned.
Mr Slim will be home tomorrow
and we have a potential competion date - in about two weeks, with an alternative for three weeks.
looking at it online, very confusingYou have been trying to buy almond flour? I bought mine from a local Asian store that seems to stock all manner of stuff like that.
Probably going to keep it to dinner time, usually too busy for lunch with the website admin at work so just going to skip it from now on and probably use the time to take a walk around the city. Thank you for the well wishes there too!

Yep! We usually eat together hence why I am really only going to be OMAD at work so I can avoid my Gran worrying that I am starving myself. She understands but sometimes flips into grandparent mode.Caesji, as I understand it, you're living at home with family. Bearing in mind your dietary changes, are you all eating together, or are you doing your own thing?
(How's the job going? Are you enjoying being back in the world of work?)

Speaking of which it’s been challenging but great, working for a small scale football club doing design and web work is a thousand times more rewarding than my original one dealing with corporate stuff! Thanks for asking!
You in London right now?Probably going to keep it to dinner time, usually too busy for lunch with the website admin at work so just going to skip it from now on and probably use the time to take a walk around the city. Thank you for the well wishes there too!
