What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

On the subject of lists. I ran a theatre for 30 years with someone who wrote list after list of jobs to be done in the theatre. It was taken one step further in that the jobs had to be done in the order they were on the list. Just for the hell of it I would do random jobs out of order and tick them off, it always caused an amusing melt down, very funny at the time but looking back it was rather cruel of me. Mind you I still chuckle when I think of my friends reaction. :)

Edit.. oh yes I also did jobs that were not in the list, add them and tick them off as done, this would cause an equally outrageous melt down. :joyful:
Funny :)
Naughty naughty you...I might have been tempted to do them out of order as well :)
I can imagine the outrage of the other person....

That's good Krystyna I'm still waiting for mine although did a little more yesterday that I have the previous week...I'm optimistic.
I think that yesterday l suddenly realised that if I don't get motivated soon I will really regret not taking this opportunity to get completely up to date during the lockdown.

I have three inbox trays...

One is labelled ‘To do now - immediately’
2nd is labelled ‘To do later’
3rd one is labelled ‘To do someday’

The ‘To do someday’ got bigger and is now in a cardboard box....starting with the first one, which by now a couple of months later the items will probably get relegated to the other two boxes...possibly the last box...

This has been the case since January this year....

Today is my day for tacking my ‘To do’ boxes....

Time for a cuppa first....
That is a really good system. You are definitely well organised and have definitely got your priorities right - first priority 'have a cuppa first '.

I think the rain that we were promised for all day has bypassed us now. I can't smell rain in the air anymore.

I think it's a possibility we might get sun this afternoon.

I hope so.

Edit: This means the paperwork inboxes and to do lists will now be waiting for another day...

Time for a cuppa first while I watch the sky...

6.Am. FBG 5.3.
Wish my body would allow a little more sleep. Don't need to be up yet. Still tired and lots to do today.
Grey skies here too, and misty, but hoping the rain holds off until the tomatoes are repotted, hedge is cut, and maybe gazebo gets a coat of paint on that panel. Forlorn hope? Possibly.
Also have alternative jobs list for indoors, when, if it does rain.
Little wonder you cant put on weight @SlimLizzy with the doing of lots - perhaps that's why I'm struggling to keep weight off - the doing of little - but given the choice....;)

Believe...and the sun will come out...it has...the rain has gone away...until another day...

Washing is now on...I am setting up the pastels back up outside...

It is going to be a beautiful sunny afternoon...

Always put off today what you could do tomorrow....Popeye agreed...he is raring to go out into the sun...

There is hardly a cloud in the sky in the few minutes since I took this photo a few minutes ago...

People are shaming me by all this talk of To do lists. May need to give myself a good talking to.

Bloods 5.6 this morning.

Put your To Do Lists away today @Ryhia
Do something nice today!
The sun has come out here, and me and his Lordship are going into the garden...

No shame in not having a To Do list. When I am working I never need a To Do list. I am really motivated to get the important stuff done as I have so little time to do it.

Suddenly, I have lots and lots of time and just cannot get motivated. I have always been a person who works really well to Deadlines - which I haven't got anymore.
I am feeling optimistic now because my weekly To Do List feels like at last I have a Deadline and I feel motivated again.

First thing on my list. Install Zoom on my PC then test that my webcam works with it because I am doing an online course through Zoom at the end of the week.
Zoom easy to install. Tested sound - works OK.

Tested Picture. Problem - the webcam isn't working. Screen is totally black.

After 10 minutes puzzling/panicking why the webcam isn't filming - suddenly realised that I haven't taken the cover off the webcam.

Webcam now working. Oh no - the picture is really clear and shows just how untidy the office is.

Need to add a new item to the list - tidy office.

That is hilarious @Krystyna23040

hahaha...that just highlights how different me and the missus are, she'd be your mate.
i'd be you.

she has 'rules' for how we get to the train station..
stop here, cross there.

me..i can't bear taking the same route home every day..so mix it up where possible

however..we do reverse in supermarkets,
for me aisle 1 down, then up aisle 2,
and repeat until all aisles done.

missus..aisle 4,9,1,18,2...aaggghhhh :woot::***::***::***:

liked the idea your friend had a melt down over something that simple,
people can be such butt holes..:hilarious:

Good morning all. Many thanks for your responses yesterday. They were much appreciated. Feeling better today after a long rest. Fbs down to 9.0, still scary but better than 12.3. Lots of jobs "to do" indoors now the sun has disappeared but 'not rushing to do them. I always find any task is done more effectively when you are in the right mood to do it rather than when it feels like a chore. :D:angelic: After years of work meeting deadlines and the stresses of the last few years, it's a luxury that only comes with retirement and/or lock down. Meanwhile I have reading and knitting to keep me occupied. I wish you all well whatever you choose to fill your time. Stay safe and well.:)
