A wet afternoon gardening, Mrs MC insisted we get all our pots re planted, muddy, wet, cold but the pots look good.

Finished yesterday's watercolour of some Conwy Valley waterfalls. A4 about 2 hours. Taken from some photos I took and some on internet in Autumn, combined with artistic license.

Don't know if you've even been by this one, not far from Tregaron on the mountain road. I call it the heart of Wales :)

Can't say I have ever seen this. We spent many of our family holidays at Llangranog when our children were still kids. Every Summer two weeks in a house high on the cliffs looking over the beach, we would always travel there via the coast road.

I worked in the Brecons as a Mountain Leader training the MOD guys but again never ventured that far to the Western Edge.

Must look out for it if we are ever allowed out again. We move into Tier 2 Saturday so many plans to visit friends through November, scrapped, along with a few days planned away in out VW Camper. :banghead:

Fiery! Well done for keeping up with your daily art.
Thank you @Muddy Cyclist
It is a struggle sometimes! On the days when I just want to sleep all day. It is not a struggle doing the actual art once I get started, but a struggle to even pick up the pice of paper to work.
I am like that at the moment...so you see different art on those days I suppose...

good morning everyone on a very dark o’clock morning in the dark and dangerous north.

The wonder wheel of spicy Mexican chicken came in at 5.6 this am - probably because I have been up since 3am.

The good news is that SIL went home yesterday so hopefully she will make a full recovery. Numbers continue to climb though so not venturing out that much at the moment - far too many infectiousness about. I suspect that we will be awarded a tier 3 within the next few day.

I had a play with the acetone/ink drip technique again yesterday. I may come back to it at some point but a couple of days playing with it seems about right for now. Have a great day if you can, it’s early doors koffy for me.

Worked well yet again. Those trees on the second are very detailed and the first feels free and flowing. the group of people have so much movement and life, achieved with a few strokes of the brush, superb.

Good news on SIL improvement.

Good Morning and 5.5 for me today.

This afternoon my daughters family are arriving for catch-up and meal, always fun with youngest grandaughter. They have returned home early after a washout camping week in Derbyshire. NOt the rain as they are seasoned campers and hill walkers but the mud on the campsite, it was getting difficult even to cook meals apparently.

This could be the last time they visit for awhile indoors as Staffordshire is being promoted, or should that be demoted, to Tier 2 as from Saturday, we assume that includes Saturday. So all our plans for next weeks socialising, two visits to friends, are scuppered. :banghead: Still more walks, Muddy Cycle rides, we have the gear so weather should not deter us.

Time carries on regardless, use it how ever your Tier allows. Keep safe.

A 5.2 this morning but I am fasting. This is my 2nd full day and I have a nice headache to get through.

I should do it more often as I do enjoy it once the brain fog has gone. Just have to make sure her ladyship doesn't see me skipping down the hill with all that extra energy :)

If your days aren't going as well as you'd like then all I can offer is a hug.

5.5 this morning. Off for dog walk shortly. Aldi shop to do today.

Then must start on the October bank reconciliation. My least favourite admin job.

Good morning everyone. Today seems to be Rumsfeld Friday. Choc-a-bloc with known unknowns both on the macro and micro level. @Alien Aspie is the fasting for bg control, weight loss or to prove a point? Water with a little Himalayan pink salt or bone broth are good on that journey. @dunelm good news on SIL's return home but the 3 am waking is not so good. Hopefully the early waking doesn't become regular. I had about a week of that recently and it makes the days soo long. @karen8967 spiffing fbg and did I miss today's inspirational Friday meme? @gennepher long may your art power you through the good and not so good times. @Muddy Cyclist sounds like a bittersweet day with your family but as your usual ending suggests, best not to try to hold on to special moments too tightly at the time. Will I ever eat caulimash with wholegrain mustard again? @Krystyna23040 what is a lady of usually impeccable taste doing in Aldi?:angelic: Is Waitrose 1 salmon with salad always going to be the absolute peak of LC food in my world ? Will our kitchen lounge really be painted and everything put back by close of play today? The macro? Can DJT really pull off another win? Can The Boy Wonder save Christmas for retailers and party donors? What is the record for the number of Tiers an area can go through in one day? When will the COVID deniers (and Len McCluskey) just ST*U? Pip PIp old toots.

I do believe it's all three :)

I've become lazy during the lockdown, physically and mentally, and if I am going to move home I need to get myself together a bit more. I think my weight is more important at the moment, I put on nearly 7 kilos since March although I did weigh myself today (first time in a while) and I seem to have lost it as I'm back at 100kg. However, that is still too much for someone as vertically challenged as I am at 5'5" soaking wet.

Bone broth, I'd forgotten about that so thank you for the reminder :)
