Shopping day here and it was the busiest I've seen it in a while, loads of green welly wearing people and a distinct lack of large packs of toilet rolls, fortunately I still have some
(green wellies and toilet rolls
)
An unusual thing happened whilst we were in ASDA, there was a staff anouncement that mentioned something like staff being requested for 'dealing with an adult' this was shortly followed by a group of four staff walking together across the shop. Finished our shopping and went out to the car and just as we were about to drive away a police transit van rolled up to the front of the store and the two officers went inside. Just as we were exiting the car park up drove another police transit van.
We thought perhaps the police had been called to pick up some shoplifters. (or just some fresh pancakes
)
