What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Long day at MILs bungalow, even dug garden and sorted Apple Fall from next doors garden, retrieved loads from the garden pool. Big sort, deliveries to Little Brithers Charity shop and home late. So only offering quick painting of sons birthday card, done tonight 10 mins A5 watercolour, he likes sunsets over the sea and is 40 tomorrow. Family all make birthday cards for each other....

A wonderful card @Muddy Cyclist

good evening all :)

4.3 today

didn't sleep particularly well, I think it was stress by induction from the US ;)

Who do you think will be brave enough to tell him finishing first is not necessarily a win :D

Shopping day here and it was the busiest I've seen it in a while, loads of green welly wearing people and a distinct lack of large packs of toilet rolls, fortunately I still have some ;) (green wellies and toilet rolls :angelic: )

An unusual thing happened whilst we were in ASDA, there was a staff anouncement that mentioned something like staff being requested for 'dealing with an adult' this was shortly followed by a group of four staff walking together across the shop. Finished our shopping and went out to the car and just as we were about to drive away a police transit van rolled up to the front of the store and the two officers went inside. Just as we were exiting the car park up drove another police transit van.
We thought perhaps the police had been called to pick up some shoplifters. (or just some fresh pancakes :hilarious: )

Hope your day is treating you kindly :)

@JohnEGreen - nice set of photos, looks like your walk was a good one :)

@Krystyna23040 - Kudos for looking for the upside :) is Zoom difficult to use?

@Muddy Cyclist - interesting wave photos, haven't been to Barmouth for a long time but we had some happy holidays there in my childhood :)

@dunelm - two good chrysanthemum paintings, I particularly like the loose way you've painted the leaves :)

@gennepher - lovely glowing light through the trees in this painting, I like it :)

art bit -

ink and watercolour wash - from a photo found on the internet.

Thank you @geefull - I do like a looser style - don’t think that Donald will listen to anyone though. Nice painting, brilliantly drawn and colored - looks like a cep - nice fried in butter

That is a grand sunset @Muddy Cyclist - I like the way you also coloured the foreground - pretty sure that he will like that

Thank you @geefull . I found Zoom sort of easy to use as long as I remembered things like taking the cap off my webcam.

However, I did hit problems when setting up the classes for tomorrow. Luckily when I changed to the Zoom app instead of using the website the problems disappeared. So hopefully there won't be any hitches tomorrow.

5.0 ➡️ On phone but 3.8 ➡️ on reader so I think an update is in order for the reader.

Still watching US bobbins in the early hours ...

Good Morning and 5.9 for me today.

Today I have to put shelves up in our shed, not sure where as room is running out. I have 221 old Capstan Tobaco tins all neatly labled with what the contents are. MRs MC s dad was an Enginee and these are where he kept nuts, bolts, washers and screws and such 100% better than my box of such things all jumbled together.

Keep safe.

Good morning everyone, have good day.
Lock down again.

What's making news today.

For....
1. We have come to know the original bad sport who will not walk off the field.

2. There are now four species of Gentoo penguin instead of one.
Known as 'a twitcher pleaser' cos now they can count three more penguin species.

3. And a massive source ot sudden short burts of energy has been identified from a Magnetar in our Galaxy (Milky Way).

Now incorrectly being said by the BBC news to be coming from our solar system!
Thank God its not from our Solar system with gamma ray bursts 100x the output of our Sun! :)

4. Humans can hibernate and we are all going into hibernation until they give us a vaccine.;)

Good morning my little carbophobes. And so it begins. As for The Donald, as many a batsman leaving the crease shaking his head was told - look in the scorebook (Sevenoaks Chronicle/Croydon Advertiser/Cambs Evening News). 2 granddaughter Thursday _ rules say we can as well as plasterer and electrician. Now, me hearties, as I'm a caring/new man * - I have a man bag and product - lyrics here. This may not be what some want to see Pip Pip old Toots.
*along with marmite and tomato sandwiches on rye sourdough I agree with Prince Charles about these chanteurs. Can't for the life of me see which one looks like Camilla though.:angelic:

Ah!, the Three Degrees - favoured (or fancied) by Charlie boy - is that why he was sent to Cornwall?
