That's a cracking landscape Pastel and use of light.

Thank you very much @Muddy CyclistThat's a cracking landscape Pastel and use of light.
Good Morning and 5.4 for me today.
A plumbing day. Me and plumbing do not mix. Floor fitter wants dishwasher moved, he can work under it but because stop **** seems to have stopped working he says I should replace it whilst we have dismantled the unit surrounding it. He's right of course so I have to get to Plumbers Merchant. He's going to help fit it thank goodness.
Stay focused, keep safe, time creeps on, Christmas is knocking.
Good morning all, chilly start to the morning so hugs with the cat on the sofa for a bit before breakfast. Fbg down again at 6.7![]()
A good start to the day and continued success with the readings.Good morning all, chilly start to the morning so hugs with the cat on the sofa for a bit before breakfast. Fbg down again at 6.7![]()
I know he's right but the procrastinating me says let's do it another day, floor is enough hassle, but fitter and Mrs MC think otherwise.Sounds like a win.
You found out early it might fail.
It's unencumbered by the usual suspects making access hard.
AND got what sounds like a responsible chap to help you do it....WIN
my top tip.

Can't win em all, but mist or no mist that's a fine rock face with tree lined terraces. Reminds me of 'The Wall' a black run twisting Mountain Bike track in Afan Valley, takes me over an hour to climb to the peak and then 6 minutes to get down the precipitous track that twists down the rock face, exhilarating and much missed this year, thanks for drawing a pleasing reminder.Good morning everyone from a quiet and peaceful start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of very slow roast pork atop a cauliflower and shedded sprout colcannon came in at 4.8 this am
The murmured plans for daughter and Mrs Miggins to visit their chosen garden centre didn’t go down too well yesterday. They discovered that it was in a tier 2 area so had to go to another one within our tier 3 area which did not have what they were looking for (whatever that was). I have a dripping shower to sort out so need to find out if what sort of cartridge is in the blender valve. Hopefully the stop tap under the kitchen sink will behave.
@lindisfel - excellent poem - thank you for posting.
@Muddy Cyclist - an inspired study.
@gennepher - 2 good pastels, both making great use of light; sky over gate and a cracking landscape with Bleak House.
@JFWinstone - welcome to the thread; a win for dropping fbg and a hug for the pain.
Painting for today, trying to depict some mist but not really working - oh well.
Have a great pre-bin day if you can, I really must stock up on koffy.

Now a question. Is / was Christmas a pagan festival and got " borrowed " by others.
I should add that the fact that the birth of Jesus was neither recorded nor celebrated in the formative years of Christianity does not lend to a denial of his existence. Merely that early Christians considered the crucifixion as the defining moment of his faith.
Also of interest is that the magi that are associated with the birth are Zoroastrian (Parsi).
