No point trying to blame others. It is my fault, I am aware of it, and I need to do better. No excuses. As my avatar says, "Keep on keeping on" - it's what we do
Proper Chumbawamba geezer - luv it big man. You're in my team all day long:woot::woot:

Hello all,

Fbg 6.3 the day before yesterday, and then 4.9 yesterday and 5.2 today (albeit the lower numbers were very probably due to some wine the night before). Seems as if there might be some liver insulin resistance going on.

Take care everyone and enjoy your Sunday.

Edited for readability.

5.8 this morning. I’m pleased with that after more red meat than I’d intended to eat at dinner.
@ziggy_w cheers! Glad you’ve got those good numbers back.

Thanks, @DJC3. It seems the wine that has done this. Unfortunately this may not be a long-term solution, I'm afraid.

Btw, good numbers after the meat-heavy dinner.

Greetings one and all. By the Grace of God 8 hr slow cooked brisket on since 5.40; for the first time since moving here, Feb 7th 2020, 30 mins exercise bike in the converted garage. Swipey offered up a sub optimal 5.4 but Sufficient unto the day - a saying which my grandmother was fond of using - is the theme today. Y'all be kind and gentle, stay safe and fight the good fight.

6.5 today, but also have a general feeling of yuck. Going for positive thoughts to beat back whatever is trying to steal my peace. Covid negative testing daily at the moment as we were in contact with someone at our lunch club on Wednesday that phoned the next day to say she was positive for Covid. Bless her she is going through the mill at present as just had a colonoscopy last week on a fast track appointment, now this. Keep well.
