Great workout even with the lower weight
How did the run go?
Libre alarm went off hour after breakfast 10 minutes later back to 6’s
Felt squiffy mid afternoon b/s 5.1 so had a cheese string, after 30 minutes didn’t feel any better so had a keto protein bar, sat at 5 all afternoon, should have gone for a haribo
Left work late & low alarm wouldn’t stop, kept going till about an hour after dinner, very random dinner but was just what I could find quick
Off to the gym before work today
Enjoy your day
So sorry to hear that you had such a tough day with the BG Levels! Feeling tired and squiffy must be bad enough. But the unpredictability of it, and the way it stops you planning your day must be so frustrating. I hope you have a much better day today my friend. Big hug.

Great FBG
Workout sounds good, might try it one day, obviously not with a 16kg bell, I’m ok swinging a 12kg but would have to change down to a 6 or 8 for the presses & snatches (always wary of my wrists with k/b snatches prefer doing them with a dumbell)
Been keeping low alarm at 5 in the day (any lower & can’t drive) & changing it to 3.9 at night, but it keeps going off so might change it to 4.5 while at work,
Usually feel ok before food, another reason to get workout in in the mornings, was going to go for a mile run last night but down to 4.4 so thought cooking dinner was more important
Even feeling squiffy I just carry on, determined it’s not going to run my life, I do however always have a small lunch bag & test kit with me
Enjoy your day

Great workout and great FBGs!!
LOL.. I used to do that swing, snatch, clean press and clean workout with a 20kg kettlebell. But a combination of losing weight and a bit of biceps tendonitis from the statins means that I am forced to be actually be sensible and use the 16kg bell. I must finally be getting old, being so sensible! :playful:

Have a great day :)

Great that you still manage a workout even when you’re tired
Sorry you have to take statins & they don’t help your b/s your last alc was 40 so you’ve really got good control & I presume you’re getting all the nutrients that your body needs
Peleton yesterday was hard, but felt really good to push through
Went into work for a couple of hours then we (husband & son) went to the Lincolnshire show, daughter was working there (doing health checks) so we met up for lunch
Had a lovely day out, not been since I was a kid
Off to gym this morning
Enjoy your day

It is what it is with statins, and it is better than it was, just have to work around them when it comes to training and be a bit sensible. The days of being a mountain gorilla with the weights are over. But that's OK, now optimising the balance of health, mobility, strength and cardio is the way to go. I remember doing single arm snatches with a 32 kg kbell. Wouldn't dream of it now LOL! But some things you have to leave behind and that's OK.

Peleton variety sounds really good, great cardio and leg strength too!
Sounds like a great day at the show.
Hope you have a great morning at the gym and a good day BG levels after that too.

Great FBG, 200 split squats yuk
Actually got to a 25kg press, was stuck on 24.5kg before lockdown & yesterday went up easily, had to do it twice to make sure it wasn’t a fluke
Should have been 16 sets on the treadmill but heart rate kept going to 92% doesn’t normally go over 84, so didn’t want to push it
Gardening & bike ride today
Enjoy the sunshine
