Missed posting yesyerday .. early morning dentist appointment and busy day with kiddo
Here are both day's posts

Yesterday morning's FBG: 6..3
Day before yesteday's food:
B: Huel black banana + protein powder + PB
L: Huel black chocolate + protein powder + PB
D: Thai chicken curry with lots of veggies ang fried eggs
AD: Choc protein pudding

Yesterday's Activity:

Steps: ~6,000

Workout:
Rest day

This morning's FBG: 6.1

Yesteday's food:
B: Huel black banana + 2 eggs + PB
L: Huel black chocolate + protein powder + PB
D: Huel black chocolate + protein powder + PB
AD: Choc protein pudding


Yesterday's Activity:

Steps: ~6,000

Workout:
4 times around the circuit below:
  • 10 inverted body rows
  • 25 push ups on roller
  • 13 surfer squats R + 13 surfer squats L (with 16 kg kettlebell)
  • 10 hanging leg raises

Going for taking statins every other day again on lower dose of 10mg tablets. See how it goes!
Jaw hurts after 1st part of root canal procedure yesterday. Worst part over ... all other teeth are looking in good shape, hopefully no more emergencies caused by rogue wisdom teeth to come! LOL

Kiddo had a great time roller skating .. off to the cinema today to watch the Jurassic Park movie.

  • 2 mins deadlifts with 32kg kettlebell
  • 2 mins power clean and press with 32 kg kettlebell
  • 2 mins gorilla rows with a pair of 16 kg kettlebells

Wow .. your FBGs are really good .. very consistent! Great going!

LOL .. yes this is the last of the wisdom teeth related issues .. once this is sorted it's all good until old age causes the teeth to start falling out :joyful::joyful:

HOw was the bike ride on the new bikes?

Bikes great thanks, just ordered some cycling shorts & cycling top, apparently doing a longer bike ride on Sunday just hope it’s not going to be too windy
Pleased you’re nearly there with your wisdom teeth, pleased now I had all mine dug out as a teenager, no room for them

Wisdom teeth should've had mine out! But when referred to Dental hospital the resident quirky "Dr House" kept insisting there was not going to be a problem and my dentist was wrong to send me there. Of course dentist was right .. not quite enough room for the wisdom teeth and they have damaged a couple of teeth as a consequence. But not hey too bad .. nearly sorted now.

The bikes sound great! Enjoy the summer on them. Great that your husband is a keen biker too. Were you both into triathlons or something?

I am pretty sick of the Huel .. finding new stuff to add to it to make it more palatable, almond oil, banana essence, different protein powders LOL .. when this tooth is crowned I'm going to a buffet!! :playful::playful:

PS added parallel bar dips to my routine yesterday ... awesome exercise. Heavy kettlebell rounds later today .. less taxing than the bodyweight circuits, but still burns energy.

Great FBG, what has happened to cauliflower rice?
Husband, daughter & son have all done marathons, I’ve only managed a couple of half’s, did tough mudder half with daughter a couple of years ago
Keep being asked to do a tri, (tri club is based at the gym) don’t think I’ll ever do it, can do all 3 disciplines easily enough but really don’t want to get out a pool with wet hair, put a bike helmet on, cycle 22k then have to take it off & run, I’d want a hot shower & blow dry my hair after swimming, no intentions of wearing a swimming cap either

Nice short routine
75 minutes on peleton was hard, set into segments of hard work & recovery, did get a pb though
Going for a short ride this morning before work to stretch my legs out, going to be another long day at work but having tomorrow off as it’s going to be hot, going to laze in the garden after the gym

75 minute Peleton ride!! Great going!
I can't be bothered with the cauli rice anymore .. just saves time to put loads of veggies in the food and the Huel is plant based so lots of fibre int hat too.

Looking good out there today .. too good to be stuck in front of a desk working!!

Great routine, still don’t know how you can drink so many protein shakes
New libre failed again yesterday so had to change it again, left a nice bruise on my arm
Off to the gym at 7 then having a day in the garden in the sun, got the factor 50 ready
