What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I've looked on my Android phone, and my collage of this morning and @dunelm 's drawing are both full size. I uploaded mine full size, as I assume @dunelm did post his full size.

Ian put a picture on, but I assume he put it on as thumbnail which you would have to click on it to enlarge.

Is this the answer to your question? I am a bit tired at the mo...

Edit: No, I have not answered your question. Just tried double tapping dunelm's drawing and got my knickers in a twist, I got into a massive picture on my Android phone, and couldn't get out of it...then this row of pictures happened ...er try double tapping and see if you get a very large picture . I am tired. This is beyond me at the mo...going back to sleep...
Hi @gennepher - yes, I posted my picture full size

Good morning everyone on what looks like it may be a smashing day here in the dark and dangerous north. I have been sitting looking East and the sunrise is quite spectacular - it’s even better down on the sea front but I can’t have everything. Hope the chemo went well @ianpspurs and that today is not too taxing. Small visitor being dropped off by her dad this morning and then physio this afternoon. I am pretty sure that the fun and laughter with a two year old is far better for me than the physio. Had a PM from the powers that be about the new forum layout so informed them about my thoughts about the contrast between background and fonts (as well as size). I can change the font size each time I post but wouldn’t it be nice to default it. Good to see the addition of more reply emojis. Nice touch. Art bit - this is taking some time. Hope your day is a pleasant one - I really must go and make koffy.

Hi all.

BG...a sneaky 7.7
Must mean something somewhere in the world.

Using painkillers a tad more of late, been doing more, so it hurts more, kinda makes sense.....ish. :D

Busy week or so

Big bike needed MOT....(tax running out, rather then ability to ride )

Good friend came over to ride it for me.

A bit of a kerfuffle once at shop, not booked in, they said .

.....oh how we laughter afterwards ..lol.

Anyway... management on scene, corporate decision made, mot undertaken

Failed...loose chain,
Mmhhh....that wasn't loose earlier...mmhh

Turns out it was,...guess all the standing around this year, a little rust had held it tighten, & the run to shop loosened it.

More kerfuffle to get it retested..

Again manager brilliant..."just test chain."

So end of day...she passed.
Taxed & up to date...happy boy.

Able to do more, so mentally good for me to be tinkering with bikes.

Spoken to so many who thought I'd moved away..been nice.

A little tidying up of scooter, which was always my intention ..main reason for buying it to learn a little skills in the running & repair of these unknown beasts.

Similar but different to the motorcycle.

Due to confined space around engine, can't do much spannering due to my hand at moment.
Turned my eye to the more presentational.

Makes little odds , I won't be riding for a while but after so long untended a little TLC, won't harm it .

Therapy going ok.
Just for interest, I've learnt a lot about how the mind works during this process

Two sides of brain need to communicate
(I likened it to Amazon delivering a package as one side of brain, and other side being homeowner refusing to open door)

Package keeps getting sent, but isn't being accepted..= inability to process trauma and move on.

Very simplistic view, but best I can do.

Anyway, regressing over incident.
Nest step is to 'alter' the narrative

Create a storyline that isn't the horrific original, but one that links all the major elements into a timeline that isn't quite so traumatic

As in a " I get hit, but am able to get up and bash driver" type way.

Some acceptance I am not so powerless at those moments that day as I lay there .

Will it work...?
Who knows

I'll update as & when.

Today's the day, we literally lose ourselves down the rabbit hole.

Hang on tight, it's gonna get bumpy .

Stay safe, ya all.
Smashing it - pleased for you that bike passed. Manager doing a good job. That rabbit hole is getting more familiar - less dark corners. Shiny side up.

Sort of @gennepher .

Ian's pic was thumbnail, so a click on that bring it up in mobile screen size (large)

And your collage likewise goes mobile screen size .

But particularly when we hunted for the hidden Popeye in your pics or @dunelm helicopter in his, previously I would just tap on those pics and get extra large (had to scroll across screen to fully see it )

Now I simply get a replication of the pic I click on (given that any thumbnail is now large)

My solution, is seemingly where you found yourself, I think.

A double tap on THAT large pic, make it extra large.

Then I can see in greater detail midnight & the garden marauders, for example.

A double tap brings me back to large, and in the new forum 'unexpected' variant, hitting X, (top right corner) returns me to original post.

If X is missing, a single tap makes it appear .

*All the above conducted using Android mobile

Not mission critical & easily resolved.

Just replying for clarity.

Hope your rest left you feeling better.

Here's to a brighter day, today.

Still tired from yesterday.
Today was double booked.
I chose the nearest (half the distance...)
Appologised to the other.
No time to look through TrailCam videos.
So, a kaleidoscope you have.
Cats fed, but birds complaining...their feeders empty...

A cuppa.
A quick nap, then off I go into the adventurous beyond. Mobility scooter batteries recharged today. I forgot yesterday, batteries ran out the moment I left the hospital entrance. Car was parked far end of car park. A kind soul pushed me back to the car....

Hopefully today will be uneventful....

Take care

Thanks for the good reply @jjraak
I need a bit (a lot) of clarity on this new layout...

OMG...it's like batteries know when it's most inconvenient..:wideyed:

So sorry to hear that, must have filled you with dread when it failed.:arghh:

Thank goodness for the kindness of the good Samaritan
coming to your aid...bravo :)

Here's to an uneventful day .

Good morning chums from another soggy start here in East Shamblia which now seems to be the new Cotswolds ruling clique wise. I will pray for their success, hope for the best but honestly fear the worst. New team but same weak squad and bizarre game plan consisting of pay day loans and whistling a happy tune. Thanks for all the good wishes for yesterday. . The process went smoothly and I feel no ill effects so far. Fitbit showed slight ripples to resting pulse, sleep score and stress management but yesterday's were good and I'd done 10k steps Monday. To be honest, I find it very hard to attribute any ill effects to The Big C - yet. Mobility issues are down to stenosis, medics confirm this, and tiredness/ready for bed by 9.00 am, and hunger have been a constant throughout LC eating. Only a pre-consultation scan for stenosis last year revealed "an Issue." @dunelm large print version was initially a shock but thanks for the art and enjoy the 2 year old and endure? the physio. @gennepher two hugs for the battery issue yesterday and the difficulty adjusting to this new format. Thank you for the kaleidoscope. JKP and MIL off to Great Yarmouth today as MIL signed them up for a coach trip so I'm monarch of all I survey. Three very tired granddaughters each evening with two starting school and one now all day at pre-school. Have yourself a great day whether you think it is meteorological autumn or still summer until the equinox but be careful.

good morning all.
Overslept and run out of time, more arriving in the post tomorrow hopefully.
Bloods this morning were a straight 6.
Must dash and stand in the warm rain cabinet in the bathroom ready to go out into cold rain later.
Stay safe and luckily I didn’t get a call to join the new cabinet, they must have looked and looked at my IQ level, ok -15’s not bad better than most politicians I bet.
Now really must dash.

8.55am FBG 6.7 ( yesterday was 7.7)
Am assuming this is still to do with the hornet sting. Took one more antihistamine this morning, as it feels slightly worse today. Perhaps because no medication yesterday.
Either way trying to climb back onto the roundabout of normal routine.
Best wishes to @ianpspurs for effective treatment without too many nasty side issues. Totally agree. Scrap the steps count on chemo days, you will need to rest and gather strength.

Thanks and I hope the problems with the hornet sting improve rapidly.

Fbs with Full on chat. Now this has got my name all over it :) check out the length of this monkey!!!

5.9 yesterday. Didnt get chance to post so catching up now. Here is my social media post and I might even try and tag photos:

Yesterday on our island on the sun!

Spent ducking and diving from the rain like a boxer in training! Weather very unsettled. Very cloudy. But when clouds drifted away, which they have done from time to time, we whip off our clothes, slap on the old suncream and look to the sun sharpish! Getting a good little routine going now....

We decided on a lie in and breakfast, mingled with the locals. Tea, coffee and breakfast x 2 for €11. Great service. Friendly waiter. Great views too as it was a harbour cafe. Inside seating proved handy escaping from the rain. The prom here doesnt really give you a chance to get a bit of speed up so meandered along, not really sunny (mostly cloudy day) but sunglasses on to enable secret people watching .

Sun did come out, eventually. And when it did i was too hot . no pleasing some people!

Hopped on the tourist train. One of the prettiest I've ever been on. €5. Bargain, I thought. 30 minutes, 'no stops' it said. I should have realised then! No stops as there is nothing to see!!! No commentary. No history. Outside the town it's incredibly barren. Tumbleweed central to be honest. Apart from the harbour (which we have seen already) it really wasnt eventful, so much so I didn't even take one photo! Not like me at all. But it enabled us to sit back and relax and we let the train take the strain .

Later on we stumbled on a market. Eric got very excited as the belts he had his eye on buying during the holiday were cheaper here than anywhere else. So he saved himself a few €€€. Its the little things in life . he was well chuffed with himself.

Back at the hotel we spent the afternoon chilling. Came to an abrupt end when the mother of all black clouds descended upon us.

Dinner was a bit of a mish mash of everything and neither of us have a clue what the theme was! Lots to choose from as usual. Lots of pasta, rice, potatoes and bread to dodge! Spoilt for choice and then you get the chef in the corner doing his speciality thing. I had my usual salady starter. Then I opted for a pork stew with lots of veg. Sounds quite boring and to be honest it wasnt the tastiest food I've ever had. But the red wine helped it go down I even had 2 spoons of Eric's dessert with icecream. Now that WAS delish. Well I am on holiday!

Then we hit the town. Saw Corralejo for the first time at night. It's like a different town! Lots of restaurants and bars and bright lights. Spoilt for choice, only we had eaten. Decided we might eat out at one we particularly fancied tonight though . food never far from our minds .

I'd spotted something on Facebook about a talented your musician playing in one of the bars. Made a beeline. Such a lovely cosy bar. Candlelit, atmospheric, warm, cosy...and cheap drinks. And young Harry blew us away! Great voice, he worked his guitar between his hands like I've never seen before and he also played piano. His song selection could not have been more perfect. I melted into each song. His sister joined him for a set. She was there on holiday. She had an equally good voice. Place was full but nobody spoke during the whole session when they were singing. THATS how good they were. Going back tonight. Different artist same quality apparently. Looking forward to another night on the tiles!!!

Beautiful day in N.W. Cumbria, warm enough to sit in garden this pm. Wondering what her cunning plan is for keeping us warm this winter.
Hope it's better than Baldrick's was.
Trust all is progressing well Ian.
Derek
Good news on the fine weather Derek. God bless you for asking after me. I'm fine thank you. To keep this vaguely related to managing T2 attached is one result picked from Friday's full blood samples. Seems bg is/was ok. How are you and The Duchess?

Batteries are inconvenient things. I did have that feeling of dread...sinking feeling. But people are very helpful.

Had good day, uneventful!
