What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

. A cat walked past who looked identical to him, even down to the few white hairs on his chest.
This cat has never been seen in daylight, only a few times since on the nighttime trail cams. It was funny watching Midnight's reaction to it.

Haha ..poor old midnight's reactions ..priceless.

Doppelganger you say...mmhh.

Maybe they're just getting the band back together ...mmmhh.

something inside so strong by Labi Siffri? Back pain course begins today - residential, Monday to Thursday for the next three weeks. I am hopeful - and positive - and have a notebook and pencil as well as gym and swimming attires
Good luck
Hope it all goes swimmingly.

Sounds pretty well set up,
However simply going, does suggest the back is more of a problem then you're more light hearted reporting, hints at .

Best wishes it bring at least some release & improvement .

And liking the music pick
that inner steel, doesn't have to be noisy....

Morning all from an initially wet and dreary Exotic East now wreathed in sunshine from the most beautifully blue sky. Splendid. @Annb :woot: for that fbg. @jjraak epic start to the Monday show with those two songs Fabulous. @lindisfel sorry to hear The Duchess reacted adversely but hope she is soon back to her best. (You beat me to it and good luck in Newcastle.) @Krystyna23040 very wise of Mr K to convince you to have both the insulated roof and blackout blinds:D @gennepher, as has been said, that creative is very evocative of the tie dye, loon pants era. Interesting video but as per the football chant, one Genn's Midnight, there's only one Genn's Midnight. @dunelm many thanks for the slowly developing art and Labi Siffre earworm. Best wishes for the back pain residential including PE lessons. For those with Fitbits this may be interesting. Not so accurate for steps but spot on for active minutes. According to a New Statesman podcast - yes Liz, the NME (essential reading for some of us in Loon pants days) within, like all revolutions Brexit is eating its own and they neither understand why nor like it one bit. Complete denial and refusal to accept reality: bereaved. Who knew we really wanted the golf club Brexit but have ended up with the IEA one? If the consequences for we JAMS weren't so awful Schadenfreude would be appropriate. It is the family tragedy that can’t be discussed but needs to be dealt with so we can move on. Have a great but safe day in this jab season but as George used to say, mind how you go.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and who wonder what I’m going to write including me, me’s and myself.

Blood sugars this morning were 5.8 sadly not a prime number.
.
We, that is Mrs J and all of me’s have our covid jab today, this will be my 6th and Mrs J’s 4th and we have everything crossed for a smooth experience.
Now for the bad news, disaster darlings, disaster absolute disaster, Mrs J has decreed that today is also beard, hair thinning and trimming day, my hair at the back is long enough for a posy ponytail, do I want a ponytail? Nope, do I want my beard trimming yep, just leave the hair alone….fat chance, Mrs J has the bit between her fangs and talons.
Stay safe all now I must depart from Mrs J’s line of sight so I can continue doing nothing.

Thanks Ian

Interesting link.

My take on it..pure cost.

And of course the reality of use
Casual, gym bunny, sportsman, triathlete, etc etc

When you consider the range and price points of so many similar trackers, bound to be some that measures some parts better, and deffo when put up against industry standard for research etc.

So for me, anything we bother measuring improves.
Otherwise what are we measuring for....?

Good call on your Fitbit choice.

When I first got interested, I wasn't sure how or if I'd use one daily.
A Xiaomi Mi band was cheap enough to leave in draw if it wasn't useful.
Was, and simply upgraded over the years to similar. (Honour 5 currently )

Heart concerns meant testing at hospital .
Nurse doing test curious how well the xiaomi worked.

Matched hospitals expensive machinery beat for beat.
Good enough for me .

For anyone curious about what's on offer, costs, value, accuracy,
A link to a site I've come to use often for its decent reviews & opinions.

thank you @ianpspurs - movement exercises were interesting and today we get flogged in the gym. Sauna and steam room were just the ticket before dinner. Interesting Fitbit results - thanks for the info.

Good morning everyone from another day of delicious back pain delectations here in the dark and dangerous north. This course only has 60 places per year (5 x 12 per course) and sad to see only 11 of us on this one. Gym work today and some individual work with therapists - well 2:1 - we are on a budget! Don’t worry though because within a short period of time Liz will be rolling this program all the way through the country and into room 101 which is secretly located next door - the zero in the middle is a fake my dear Watson.
Art bit - a bit more fiddle faddle. Have a great day if you can. I have brought my travel cafetière with me (a sort of plunge flask) and a can of koffy. So, koffy it is.

Am missing the your posts button. Sometimes can't remember what has been posted and it's a good way to know where to start reading. Unless it's still here somewhere and I havent found it? This is Kiki sqinting in the sunshine. In most photos she looks white, here you can see her true colours. I don't like collars on cats, but after what happened to Errant I need it to be obvious to anyone who sees her that this is a treasured pet. Of course any day we know Le Chasse is about she will be kept indoors anyway. Today she is starting on the long road to obtaining her passport. Double jabs this afternoon. 20221004_120828.jpg

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all those who were constantly told in their childhood to do their laces up.

A 5.7 on that meter of deviousness, ah if we drop the decimal point 57 is not a prime number, shock horror.
.
Firstly a warm welcome to @Claudia 1961 to this to this thread, tucked into a corner on this useful site, me, me’s and myself do hope some of our postings bring a smile to your face.
.
Well fellow posters and painters, I do hope you are well. Today here in Tilehurst Towers the day is taking shape, with a highlight of being unsupervised at lunch time.
I would like to report Mrs J and myself had our covid jabs yesterday and we ha no after effects. Talking of after effects let’s hope our regular poster and decorator @dunelm survives his pummelling on his back pain course and the course issuccessful.
I have been asked to store an electric bicycle for 6 months in my top shed and given permission to use it. Mrs J bless her talons and fangs also is not best pleased about me using said bicycle, muttering something about bunny hopping up kerbs, broken ribs etc,etc etc, but is happy for said bicycle to stored here. One word temptation.
.
Stay safe all.
