What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

@ianpspurs have a lovely day, followed by a happy and healthy year.
Forgot FBG today. Household mini crisis. MrSlim apparently walked into a door last night ( I know, classic excuse) so nasty black eye and cut just above it. Blood on pillows, sheets and floor....everything wiped or in to soak. Phew, now coffee. Meanwhile Kiki is frantic to escape house and getting underfoot. Took her for short walk and then confined to barracks while i went shopping.
Day four of sparrowatch.
Several sparrow nests under the eaves, both back and front.
Wrens nest is in logpile. Redstarts in hole high up in stable wall. Woodpigeons attempting to construct nest in nearest Apple tree. Dropping many twigs in the process.
Chaffinches possibly in woodshed as well as robin nest. These are only the few nests I can see from my seat by the back door.
There will be many fledglings soon...

Hugs for the impending fledgling watch @SlimLizzy
It looks like an extended season for you!
I hope Mr Slim recovers quickly...

Wildlife nighttime cameras...
Cat Merlin smacks badger KissyKissy who is unimpressed - 2 camera viewpoints
Poor Merlin, he knows Midnight is better at this!
What skill does Merlin have?

Creative is buttercups a kaleidoscope in Laboscope.
Running out of time here, so not as good as I wanted.
Internet playing up, kept cutting out (it does in hot weather) and it's taken too long to upload to YouTube.

Have your best day.
A cuppa needed...

Bye....

Hug for the internet playing up and slowing down your progress. Thanks for making and sharing the buttercup kaleidoscope. Who else remembers the childhood test to see if one liked butter? This will sadden you, Derek and most others. Can hardly blame the 2 usual suspects. Not as if they have been killed to eat.

Me!

@alf_Josiah you didn't miss the day it is today so thanks. @gennepher and @SlimLizzy thanks for the good wishes - hug for Mr Slim. Also the birthday of a cousin of mine and the Grandmother of #1 Son's partner.
Almost too late - hope today has been a happy one Ian. Got very mixed up over which day it was and so nearly missed it.

OMG - I think I have sorted a tech issue. I am not a person who can usually sort out tech issues.

Computer updated last week - after which my lesson plans for clients suddenly were causing Word to stop responding for 10 minutes each time I tried to update them.

My tech people decided that it was the pictures that I had copied from the internet causing the problem because they had embedded links to the original websites I got then from. Very puzzling because this hadn't happened before.

The workaround they suggested was very time consuming and didn't stop the problem.

I decided to purchase adobe acrobat and use it to do my lesson plans. That was a nightmare because I used Tables in Word to do my lesson plans and it wasn't easy to do this on a PDF.

Yesterday I had a sudden flash of inspiration. What would happen if I converted a lesson plan to PDF. Then converted it back to Word. Would it break the links to the original websites.

Success!!! Yes the links are broken and Word is back to working perfectly.

I am really shocked that I sorted it.

Congratulations on a very smart move, Krystyna.

Em is here today and we were just discussing a headstone for her grandad. I have never been able to afford one so his grave is unmarked. There is a large rock sitting on the ramp outside the front door which Em started to decorate in 2017, but gave up because she didn't feel that it was turning out the way she wanted (she was only 4 at the time). Now she wants to have another go at painting it and getting it put on his grave.

I was very touched a couple of days ago when she arrived with her Dad with a picture of a sailing ship she had made for her grandad. She brought it to show to me and then was going to the cemetery with it to show it to grandad and she wanted me to say if I thought he would like it. She knew it was pointless leaving it there but she wanted to be close to him and "show" him the picture.

You are amazing @Krystyna23040
Just a suggestion.
The pictures you get off the internet, sometimes have funny things embedded. Now what if you took a screenshot of those pictures instead of downloading them, even though you can legitimately download them? Would that help at all?
