Art bit I like very much.It is looking desolate at the moment, which fits my mind today...it is good, an expression of how I feel (I don't needs hugs or sympathy It is fine).Good morning everyone on a cool and rainy morning here in French froggy France. Lovely lunch out yesterday but dad did not fancy it so stayed at home. My cousin and her partner are here so they joined us. They are off in their camper van down to southern Spain, via Andora, then back home early December. Probably going to do some batch cooking today, vegetarian dishes as my brother came and batch cooked a lot of protein dishes a couple of weeks ago. Dreams - some of mine a quite lucid and then at other times a great confusion of images crashing together. I did once though see Freddy and The Dreamers in Douglas, Isle of Man. I was on a Scout camp based in Peel, I think and the Scout Leader must have thought it would be a good idea for us all to go. Art bit, quick sketch - not sure I like it but hey ho! Hope your end of week is kind to you. Best make some Koffy.

Sad that you are feeling desolate at the moment, Gennepher. OK, you don't want hugs or sympathy but will hope for something a bit brighter than desolate be acceptable?Art bit I like very much.It is looking desolate at the moment, which fits my mind today...it is good, an expression of how I feel (I don't needs hugs or sympathy It is fine).

Thanks, wishing for something brighter is great. The going out this morning would've helped, so now it is doing a meditation, an electric blanket on, and then a nap.Sad that you are feeling desolate at the moment, Gennepher. Mr K bought pork loins from Aldi. He loves pork loins but I don't. I would have preferred sirloin steak. Luckily he doesn't buy the pork very often.Good news on Hive now behivingDid Mr K avoid the big Paddington, cheap as chips reduced to clear (but fine for Saturday evening then grandson to play in) England RWC top and sirloin steak* JKP made me put in the trolley? We only went for dog food and baby wipes
. Aldi Newmarket is opposite the hospital where I had my bloods taken so back in November. Random strings of amazingly gorgeous (and very valuable) horses appear as if from nowhere in that town but they have right of way.
Update. Probably best to avoid the *d. This will discombobulate a few. Processed meat is worse - no manure Sherlock. Since it was US based did they control for the bun, fries, supersized shake and everything else along with the (processed) meat?

Hopefully I will be attaching Mrs J’s latest paint by numbers creation, it was finished yesterday and has now found a new home, a close friend of Mrs J’s is now the proud owner.
If me, me’s and myself are lucky I will taken to supervise the weekly shop, with possibility of being banished to the koffy shop, but who knows, Mrs J does, worryingly Mrs J is quiet.
It might be prudent to keep my head down, but where’s the fun in that.
Stay safe all.View attachment 63791

Well my plans are scuppered this morning.
Wellies and Noah's ark are needed.
I thought the worst of this storm was not going to hit us, so the weather forecasters said yesterday.
I have a 4 inch padding pool round my bungalow this morning, But no worries, once it gets to just under my door sills, it runs off down the hill because I am the highest thing around here. But it means the steep hill, the rat run at the end of my road will be a torrent of a river, and the rat run people never take that into consideration when scooting down at 40 (in a 20). So there will be a few meetings with parked cars, lampposts, telegraph poles, and walls all getting on with life minding their own business.
Last night in the early hours there were 2 stray cats sheltering from the rain. Cat number 1 was in Midnight's comfy kitchen chair, cat number 2 was relegated to the comfy cat bed which is under the kitchen chair, and he was growling and objecting....I left them to slug it out. Midnight wanted to make his voice heard, so I had to push him unceremoniously, along the wooden floors into another room.
This morning, only stray number 1 remained. He did have the vantage point.
Midnight has been viewing the cat litter tray with disdain. He I'll only use it under duress, he prefers the leaves in my garden....he is now waiting for the rain to abate....he says he cannot swim...
If the rain doesn't abate, I'll find some stepping stones...

Thank you @ianpspursMorning all. It looks beautiful out there - Bengaluru obviously. A tad wet here but I strongly suspect along the road twixt here and Ely the salad will be being irrigated. Interesting posts about dreams. I'm not one who dreams much possibly because I don't really have an imagination. I think the creative side of my brain was left on the work bench. I don't think I ever even used colouring books and as far as I know I have never doodled. So thank you @dunelm @gennepher and Mrs @alf_Josiah for sharing yours. @gennepher I hope your day becomes more Genn friendly but winner for being honest. @Krystyna23040 great fbg and good news on not needing to travel to Norwich. Today may well be a day of drinking tea, watching cricket and rugby to limber up for tomorrow.
Thank you @Krystyna23040I love your creative @gennepher. The birds look so happy.
Thank you @gennepher and pleased that you like it. Rain has stopped and the sun is coming out - but not before I got soaked walking to the supermarket and back - drat!Art bit I like very much.It is looking desolate at the moment, which fits my mind today...it is good, an expression of how I feel (I don't needs hugs or sympathy It is fine).

Another knockout piece from Mrs J and thanks for sharing. Take care in the supermarket, strange items have a habit of jumping into unsuspecting trollies.Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those that turned cartwheels across the floor.

I do like pork loin and also belly pork. I might get some this week and make something called Petit Sale Porc with lentils.Mr K bought pork loins from Aldi. He loves pork loins but I don't. I would have preferred sirloin steak. Luckily he doesn't buy the pork very often.
